I had a little different problem as I didn't have the cap that screwed over the insert. Watching your video let me see the screw on cap and now my machine is working great. Thanks so much for taking the time to post it.

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience, I'm getting ready to work on a Bissell 2070 Quicksteamer Powerbrush carpet cleaner. I've worked on quite a few Bissell vacuum cleaners, but never a shampooer. I dig your accent by the way.

Thank-you very much.... I didn't know the gasket belonged on the clean water tank. Everytime we put clean water tank down, it leaks everywhere with or without shampooer being turned on..... I will try your helpful tips and see if it works. Thanks again.

Did you try my method of digging the black flange out of the base of the machine...Always get's stuck, you just need a small flat screwdriver to release.

I can’t find the rubber gasket 😫 I do nt think it was even in there when I cleaned it, previous manager was horrible at her job. Left me a big mess.
