It’s funny most people say Dave’s vocals are weak but no one else could fill the spot. To me Dave’s vocals are a perfect match for megadeth. Imagine if Dave got the singer from diamond head as he originally requested in the early years or got someone similar to hetfield. The band wouldn’t be the same without Dave singing

What an absolute beast dave is, i mean the guy can sing, riff like a god and pull off such an amazing solo and can keep up with the likes of poland and marty. Most people forget while comparing him to kirk is the fact that Dave sings too

Dave's solo is some of the best playing I've ever heard. Al is on ripping form, but Dave is beyond incredible. He has the hammer of the gods, because mortal men just don't sound like that. They can't.

I don't hate Metallica, Ride the Lighting is one of my all time favorite albums, but it's performances like this that remind me how much better Megadeth is....

Growing up i was huggggee into metallica. I loved metal but I was so new to it. My brother always talked about megadeth and I just wasn't ready to listen. He sad me down one night and showed me this...I never looked back. The level of metal my soul needed matched with Megadeth
If only Mustaine had a better voice or less at least less voice problems. This is one of his better signings. Hetfield has more power in his voice. For the rest, I prefer I prefer Megadeth.

Josh Bowerman not single handedly when it comes to solos. Marty Friedman made their solos great and Dave can’t play most of Marty’s solos
This instrumental break is so brilliantly composed and executed. I can't think of a lot in electric guitar music that I would place at this level.

I love Nick, but Jimmy is my favorite of all the Deth drummers. He’s got so much feel in his playing, and his fills are so good.
For me, Gar takes the cake. That being said, Jimmy has always held a special place for me in Megadeth’s legacy. It’s performances like this that make it an undeniable fact.

This is what the cover looks like. The entire album is awesome.
There was another video uploaded of this same cut, but at the end of the song Mustaine and Pitrelli high five each other and you can tell, they knew that was a fantastic jam session.

I’ve seen Megadeth 12 times over the years & seen many different lineups. I can tell you without a doubt this tour with this lineup was the best they ever were live. Atlanta ‘02 with Iced Earth. What a night of metal.

I understand all these people praising Menza. However, anyone having any kind of drum knowledge and ability to hear subtle differences in playing can tell that Jimmy DeGrasso is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Menza in terms of groove, phrasing, tone. DeGrasso is a way more suitable drummer for Megadeth, has the same kind of fresh playing style Gar once had, while Menza was just... a drummer. Sorry for the unpopular opinion.

This performance is beyond amazing. Such a magnificent sync between Dave and Al. The extended version with Marty at Woodstock 99 is not even close to this one.

Man. Dave should do this every show, I know that won't be the case because he is not 30 years old anymore. But Rude Awakening stands still to this day, and I have no doubt Kiko and Dirk would nail that hypothetical show.
I feel lucky that the first time I listened to this song, it was this performance and then the studio recording. One of my best childhood memories, listening to this performance.
