Get ready for another exciting episode of Adventures With The Cohns! Join us as we explore the historic sites of Washington, D.C. and introduce our girls for the first time to some of the most important moments in American history.
On this adventure, we’re continuing our day in Washington DC as we visit The Capitol, Washington Monument, & Lincoln Memorial.
We start off by scheduling a tour inside of The Capitol where we ended up seeing amazing sculptures of individuals who paved the way for society. There were amazing pictures/painting showing us life of people in the past. We had an amazing time hearing about how the Capitol was built and how Congress was developed.
Lastly we headed down to Lincoln Memorial and this was great for the girls as they had been reading up on President Lincoln during our homeschool sessions, so they were happy to see that.
Visiting these places made our family trip to Washington DC great. We're looking forward to going back and seeing even more of the city.
We definitely had a wonderful time taking the girls to Washington DC and seeing all the places that we saw. Like every vacation it always feels like there’s never enough time to do what we want to do, but that never stops us from having fun.
