This is one of those guys, those few guys, who really understand teaching toward duplication, where a student can understand the principles at the same time as he learns the technique.

Great stuff, judo is so underrated, o believe this is also known as a Mongolian uchi mata but could be wrong

Most ppl call it a front Uchimata but I believe it’s technically Yagura Nage.

Thank you for the tidbits of knowledge. Even though I’m sure your students have had more than enough time to get ahead, it’s still nice to get that juicy knowledge

One of my fav throws off the wall, im a short guy so I usually have shoulder position as we get to the wall. You get a nice little bounce off the fence if you drive in hard enough and it makes pulling them back super easy.

Mongolian wrestlers use this one a lot too! Great technique seems like it’s way underused in MMA

It's a good technique, judo is highly underestimated in mma, I remember buying karo parysians book and man what a book, one of the best for judo in mma

Key... Make sure you do it as quickly as possible, or he has time to actually fight back and land in your guard 🤦‍♂️

Bear hug leg trip could result in full mount for other guy

Pretty hard to fight back when you have no connection to the ground.

Great video, btw making those surprised faces on the thumbnail doesn’t suit your level of experience,
