Hi James, I have got one of these, I have had it for over twelve months now and have found it to be very a reliable and accurate 6mm airsoft pistol. I found the more you use it the more the blowback action frees up.

thanks mark! it's one of those things, sometimes its nice just to have a plink and have a bit of fun - which is where these types of guns come into their own. james

Great review, I have needed a new real airsoft pistol for a long time and this video is amazing! I hope the pistol is worth the $119.95!

I own several Umarex spring guns and a couple gas guns and really like the licenced Walther products, as Umarex and Carl Walther GmbH are under same corporate umbrella. Considering purchasing the gas pellet PPQ for dry runs and home drills. BTW the early PPQ had what is generally referred to as a "paddle" magazine release, like the P99 he is talking about in video. The PPQ M2 was changed to a push button mag release, due to the American market preference for the latter style magazine release. I own the PPQ .45, which is an M2, although not designated as such. Literally my only gripe with the "real steel" (I guess this is an Airsoft community term for a real firearm) PPQ is that the grip surface is too smooth and the slide serrations not nearly aggressive enough. This is easily remedied with Talon grips and a Slide Spider, for under $50.00 or a $500 25 LPI checkering job at a gunsmith's shop. Hmmmm...tough choice, but I'd rather drop the remaining $450 on ammunition!
It might be worth using some skate tape on a plastic popper like this Umarex; that's what I did until my Talon and Spider grip products arrived and I left a couple areas of skateboard tape on the slide, which the Arachnigrips don't cover. The increased frictoin and grip are a must for me, especially helpful for training in areas such as non traditional chambering, AKA pant leg or "boot racking." God Bless the Queen, but thank GOD I am an UK ex-pat and live in USA! Sad to see the neutering of the UK, one of the mightiest firearms nations in history; emphasis being on 'history', sadly. The Brits and Scots were the OG of "Go big or go bugger yourself sir!" We gave the world gems like 12 bore/gauge and .577 calibre two and four barrel Howdah pistols, (THE OG "sawn-off from the factory" shotty! WICKED!) glorious, literal artillery calibre double rifles from makers such as Purdey and H&H in calibres up to .700 (17.8 mm!) And let's not forget the Nitro Express family of ammunition! Until the MRI/IMI Desert Eagle was released in 1985, Britian held title as makers of the most powerful semi auto pistol in history, the marvelously clunky, complicated, cartoonishly gigantic, steampunk-esque Mars pistol in .455, designed by H.G.W. Fairfax. If we go to the pre-SCMC, black powder muzzleloading era, the standard British "Brown Bess" was a .75 calibre musket. I've seen a 4 bore/4 gauge side by side muzzleloader in the Leeds collection; 4 bore is 1.052 INCH!
My, what a rant! Nobody's going to read that, but, oh well... CHEERS!

I read it, but I am from the UK. The Walther PPQ M2 airsoft is probably as good as it will get in the UK.

I use my ppq as my primary when I want to leave my rifle behind. It has the slim profile lancer tactical laser. And an extended mag. Go threw entire mag no jams no problem. Simply a great performance pistol

Good and clear review. I've heard that with time and use the slide can crack by the ejection port.

Thanks for the review!👍 Very much considering this pistol now. I figure if it's good enough for Bond it should be good enough for me! By the way James you're the worst shooter, I am!😂

That rattle is in the real PPQ as well. It's meant to loosen the slide tolerances a bit, to increase reliability from debris that makes it's way into the gun.
