Legend has that straw pillows last for decades. A good and well cared for earthafom pillow can last a few years though. They're more for people who are unsure about the hobby and shelling out the cash or who want a light pillow to take places like workshops.
I have used old army blankets when I don't have straw, also Styrofoam works well and is lighter weight but handles the needles quite well 😉 👌it's hard when you live on a fixed income. Hugs and kisses 💋 😘 Lynn Weasenforth 😘 💖 💕 ❤️
I saw someone selling a cookie pillow made from Ethafoam. I wonder which would hold up better over a long period of time and after several uses? P.S. I love that this macho-harley looking guy is actually a lace-maker!! How unexpected!
I would not use saw dust because it would wear out quickly from use a straw pillow will lase a lifetime mainly sawdust would start to come through the fabric of the pillow from all the pins that is jsut my take on it
Sim gonna share this one to my G+ contacts , is this alright with you ? Now my husband knows how to fill up mine , thank you Lace loves from the Netherlands
Thank you! Very helpful. Now to find some straw!
