@@s34x Schlimm, wenn man, wie in diesem Fall, der Willkür eines Tyrannen ausgeliefert ist, denn er nimmt mit seinen Grenzüberschreitungen und seinen Machtspielen den Musikschülern den "Spaß an der Freud`"! - Wie wär`s denn, wenn ihr Schüler ihn mal auf diesen Oberstufenchor hinweist. Vielleicht bringt ihn das zum Nachdenken...! Alles Gute!
Unsere Schule hat eine BigBand mit Sängern. Diese wird von zwei Lehrern freiwillig seit knapp 10 Jahren geleitet. Wir waren schon beim WDR und hatten einen Auftritt mit den Musikern der WDR BigBand. Im Sommer letzten Jahres haben wir als Eröffnungsakt bei der Europafechtmeisterschaft gespielt.....unsere Musiklehrer sind DEFINITIV unterbezahlt. Außerdem haben wir noch einen Chor, der genauso Ambitioniert wie dieser ist und das einzige Schulfootballteam Deutschlands, das professionellen Football spielt. Einer von uns geht jetzt in die NFL.
Dem Chorleiter/Musiklehrer sollte man ein Denkmal setzen! Dieser Schülerchor ist einfach fantastisch!

Wahrscheinlich liest Keiner mehr nach fast 5 Jahren hier den Kommentar, aber ich muss es einfach noch schreiben. Wirklich super klasse was ihr und Euer Chorleiter auf die Beine gestellt habt. Wenn man bedenkt das ihr (nur) ein Schulchor seid ist das absolut super mega top. Das Video wurde mir aus Zufall mit auf meine Playliste gestellt, und seitdem läuft es ein paar mal am Tag und bringt mir immer eine mega Krinsen auf`s Gesicht und auch Gänsehaut. Ich finde es schön zu sehen das unsere Jugend nicht vollkommen abgedreht ist. Jetzt seid ihr ja Alle schon mit der Schule fertig und geht neue Wege. Ich hoffe das einige von Euch der Musik treu geblieben sind und ihre Zukunft auf diesem Weg weiterführen werden. Euch alles Gute und vielen vielen Dank für das tolle Video.

Da passt alles.. die kurz angespielten Töne der Gitarre sind Hammer… der Schlagzeuger zieht im Hauptteil schön durch.. einfach Wahnsinn…
Und der Rapper mit seinem Solo ... man sieht auch kurz, dass der Musiklehrer am Klavier ein stolzes Grinsen hatte. Da steckte aber auch viel Arbeit, Probe und Mühe in so einem Konzert!
Heute auf diese Perle gestoßen. Acht Jahre scheint das Video schon alt zu sein. Ich hoffe, dass es noch viele Male geklickt wird. Das ist in dieser Zeit ein echter/alter Lichtblick - Jugendliche mit einem Ziel: gemeinsam singen. Wunderbar und größtmögliches Kompliment an alle in diesem Video. P.S. Der Bassist hat Spaß, das finde ich cool.

During the lockdown in 2020 I watched this concert (and certainly this song) over and over again and it made my days better. Young talents, a huge choir, a concert hall full of people: a promise for the future. Now that life is returning to normal I feel like the promise becomes real and it brings me once again into tears. Thank you for this gift to humanity.

@@robschwartzenberger6698 Beautiful words, and now that we have yet another zoonotic strain it's hard not to think that what we thought at the time to be life's difficulties, were actually nirvana. I even look back with fondness about being in crowded shops or clubs where dancing was confined to shuffling due to the crowds! It really feels like life as we knew and took for granted has gone forever, although naturally I would be delighted to be proved wrong.
