OG3 Would be godly, the anime is mad underrated too, Generations on the console really helped solidify the story I liked Axel way more on console then on gba where he was just a psycho. Seeing great characters like Arado, Ryusei, Excellin, Sanger, would be great in OG3 and would love Alfimi/Axel return as well as more Ibis and Lamia Loveless who I think is one of the best characters in the series especially considering how short in retrospect there airtime is.
The SRW series needs a new reboot like how the first half of SRW Z2 part 1 did.
I wish they didn't ignore SRW OG, it's honetly the highlight series for me
Same, as a westerner SRW fan we’re gravitate toward OG units over 80s Japanese mechs. Took me a while to find out R1 and Huckbein wasn’t Gundam when I played OG on GBA.
I would love to see several shows that were wasted in the gachas get second chances at having proper SRW debuts. Exkaiser and Muv-Luv especially deserve it. It's criminal how Muv-Luv was treated as an afterthought when it was a highly demanded series. More Braves would be good, too. Aside from Exkaiser, Dagwon would be a fantastic choice. Getter Robo Arc and Dynazenon are shoe-ins for sure, but I honestly think we might have to wait a bit for G-Witch. As for some out there pics, more power armor shows would be great. Obviously Netflix Ultraman with plot and Fuuto PI would be awesome to see, and I would love to see Tekkaman Blade make a return, but one show that I would really love to see that is most likely a pipe-dream is Symphogear. Symphogear would actually work really well in SRW, given its setting, plot, and characters. Plus, the Symphogears can breathe in space, have fought kaiju-sized enemies, and have multiple insane Super Robot finisher attacks. They could really work. Put it alongside Macross and Cross Ange and you can do some really interesting stuff with the plot.
I would love it to come but its more focused on the mobile market currently. OG3 on everything would be awesome with super highres 2d sprites
Yeah, it's weird that we haven't gotten any new main games after 30. For the next series I'd like if they went back to basics. Like start the first game fairly "low tech" with OG Gundam, OG Mazinger, OG Getter, GGG, Macross, etc. Then for the second game have a time skip and enter an era with Zeta, Macross Plus and/or 7, etc. Ditto for the third where you get CCA and/or Unicorn, Macross F, Shin Getter.
And agree with @Dramata: IMPACT was cool but also suffering. haha
1st SRW was Super Robot Taisen OG 2 GBA, followed by 1, which I chose to finish first. I don't do SONY consoles (no offense intended), so my recent SRW games after those OGs have been V, X, T, and 30 for the Switch. Haven't played T, new in shrink-wrap, but playing X right now. Love them all, they are addictive to me. When you haven't played them all like most of you have, you really enjoy them more than "you should"-I see no problems with X! I think I may be easy to please. :)

The two series I really hope to see in a future SRW game are definitely Macross Delta and 86
I mean, they should probably do one last OG as a last hurrah. We're getting close to the one climax to end all climax: Alpha 3 and Keisar Ephes (Yes I know the lack of Ichiro Mizuki hurts, but they can handle that).
Just give one last hurrah, and either concentrate on the crossover SRW or reboot OG with the newer original characters, and I'll be good.
And I'm patient, I'll wait as long as I can to see the OG Saga reach its conclusion.
One thing I’d love to see, probably won’t happen outside of one off DLC, is Godzilla Singular Point. Just to have Jet Jaguar kill Gendo Ikari because 3.0 + 1.0 is probably going to be coming in some form for the next game.

As an old fan of the series, the old games like Alpha series and Impact are just the best. Always my favorite of the bunches.
For no reason at all; I want Cyborg 009 and Escaflowne.
I also want to see Macross and Zoids.

Realistically what series they gonna make it in next game?
1. Macross, after settle thing with harmonygold next game will be the very good chance to bring back macross
2. Brave series
3. All series that running story in DD will not appear in main game becuase they still want to sell gacha
4. Traditional reuse, many series which appeared in 30 will be in the next game for recycle game purpose
5. Gundam, ofc CCA, ZETA ffs I rather play Seed and Seed destiny full story than have to see UC era gundam again
6. Classic super robot series, Zmbot and Daiturn or Combattler V.
7. Toei super robot, Mazinger, Getter is a must
8. Weird series that com for nothing like Gagantia, Daiguard, etc.
Anyway seem like everyone forget about Evangelion and some good mecha anime like Fafner. LOL
P.S. after mega sale from 30 and they are silent as forest feel not good at all.
I feel the coolest idea would be to make OG collections and then eventually release the final game with the money these made

I would love to see a remake of the Alpha series, with them reusing a lot of the OG assets for a OG3 game, or vice versa.

Honestly, while I'd rather have OG 3, maybe best for series is start of a new saga, since they now can sell internationally on Steam and therefore have just a massive audience they can please now.

On my actual channel im working on translating Compact 2 part 3, so sad to hear all the hype for Impact, and no mention of Compact 2 where the concepts and source material come from. Recently learned about Support skills starting in Compact 2 (or so my research says).

My wild never gonna happen wish that'd make people spit their water if they saw it in a future mainline SRW would be Mega Man/Mega Man X (moreso MMX since it's setting would fit well into SRW better). The chances of it are almost 0 since it's a Capcom franchise but MAN it would be a sight to see.

In your opinion in all the srw games that you have played, can you make a list from easiest to hardest?
That's way too many to list but the easiest games are every game starting with V and onward. The hardest games are A Portable and the gba version of OG 2.
We already had OG3, it was called Moon Dwellers.

The modern OG engine looks better than the modern anime games.

@@BaoZakeruga only cause the engine of HDOG is from scratch while IP-based SRWs had been using the same engine since the PSP (Yes Z3 onwards uses Z2's engine just with Hi-res sprites and a Z1 style map from V onwards)

I don't know, as much as I like the series, I think I might be burnt out on it. For whatever reason, I'm just not excited for, well, anything that's possibly coming up. Trying to think about it, it's all basically due to three entries.
I'd really like an "OG3" but the fact that it's apparently not even in development combined with it potentially being the final one just makes me more sad than anything.
"30" I genuinely thought was a disappointing, disjointed mess full of terrible DLC practices that have fully set a bad precedent for any future entries. DLC locked units and series, including series debuts, attacks, unit upgrades, scenario continuations, etc. I was able to stomach it this far, even for "MK III: Pride of Justice" with its overinflated difficulty to urge you to get the DLC bonuses, but this is my breaking point I guess. I absolutely hate it even after all this time.
And finally, "DD". I'm not a gacha player, they just don't vibe with me since they drive my semi-completionist OCD up the wall. But the fact that every other month, I see series I'd love to see in a proper entry get included in it instead just increasingly annoys me. Like hell, as of the time of this post, freaking "Kuromukuro" got added. I remember watching that series as it was airing and thinking it'd be a cool "SRT" addition. I guess with the handheld line of "SRT" no longer being a thing, these kind of smaller off-the-wall inclusions just aren't as likely to happen anymore. Who am I kidding, they still can...probably as DLC.
Maybe one day that spark will reignite for me. I wish I had your guys' positivity. But for now, doom and gloom is all I got.

Honestly, if the main series entries keep being good, we don't need another OG. Last one had weird power scaling issues all over the place, anyway.
