    I made the change from gas everything to heat pump, solar and battery. Octopus have been pinnacle in my transition from fossil fuels costing a fortune, to now being zero energy bills. Changing the way we use energy has saved me an insane amount of money, and brought our carbon footprint down to a fraction of what it used to be.

    Been an early adopter of octopus energy and their growth has been spectacular to say the least. We need more people like Greg and his team to make our world than much better.
    At present I’m waiting to get onto their intelligent Octopus tariff but for what ever reason it’s not happening. I’ve battery storage, solar and EV. Next will be heat a pump. My bills have never been so cheap.

    I'm such an advocate of Octopus...the vision of Greg and the team and the reality of what they deliver to me as a customer is leagues ahead. I can't ever imagine not being a customer and that tells you everything. We've got the full monty of heat pump, battery, BEV and solar and have the tiniest of bills thanks to them ❤

    Brilliant! Thanks Greg, not only have you got an amazing technology setup & vision but your own personal knowledge & huge enthusiasm is contagious. Such good news at this most miserable of times in the UK. Thanks.

    I’ve noticed that the anti-EV anti-renewable crowd on social media are getting more and more loud and desperate trying to find reasons to keep burning stuff. It was really refreshing to hear someone who both sounds like they know what they are talking about and has demonstrated that the transition is possible to help counter all of the arguments you see day in day out.

    Full of admiration for Greg and Octopus - they fully understand the transition and they're now one of the big 6.

    Air Source Heat Pump run from Solar and Battery. Octopus ‘COSY’ tariff here in the UK. We now have 25% generation of our energy off our roof in March so far.

    Why do we only receive 15p/kWh exporting electricty but have to pay 64,00p/kWh to Octopus?

    • @OctopusEnergy
      @OctopusEnergy  Před rokem +5

      Hi Alan, export tariffs are technically and administratively expensive for suppliers, so the rate is often lower. Our 'flat' export price is one of the highest in the UK and our totally unique 'Agile Outgoing' tariff allows you to export at market rates. It's paid more than £1.20 /kWh in the recent past: octopus.energy/outgoing
      Also, customers continue to be protected by the Energy Price Guarantee until July when the new lower price cap comes into effect. So that rate you're looking at may be the pre-discounted rate.
      Do get in touch if you have any questions, we're always happy to help. 👍🐙

    "blah-blah -blah" - your friend Greta Thunberg. Greg, have you looked at the 'one star' reviews of Octopus? How about attending less public speaking opportunities and taking charge, if you are able to, of the company your name is attached to?
