Very satirical Bob Dylan type vibe for me. When people say that he can't sing it usually means that he does not have a pop musicians voice. I have noticed that if you don't have voice for pop music a lot of people will perceive you as a bad singer (I remember when Katy Perry was considered a bad singer because she has a Rock voice).
