Moon was very hyper today. That was great. It reminded me of how carefree he was when he first turned back on after the memory wipe. It was also funny how done Solar sounded with his shenanigans.
I do agree that Ruin is kind of off-putting at the moment. Hopefully it is just due to lack of exposure and isnt anything to worry about. Though i do encourage Moon to make something new, because he hasnt really done that since the wipe--he has just been rebuilding existing things or going off of old blueprints. Minus maybe some of the security upgrades for Earth and Lunar.

Imma be honest, I don't think Ruin is faking at all. I think the "cure" was a completely new virus in and of itself that cures the original virus and takes its place over time.

I've gathered 9 minutes into the video, Ruin is most likely faking being cured. Their voice is slowly straying closer to their previous voice and they became scared when Moon suggested Moon and Solar could fix their body, like they're afraid Solar and Moon would look into their coding and figure it out.

People keep saying he is acting weird. I personally think its because of his old life. He was a isolated daycare attendant after all. He probably doesnt know how to talk to people and doesnt want to embarrass himself. I feel that Ruin, im an introvert too.
Good defense, but he wasn't here for 2 weeks. He's fascinated in trying to fix a console, which is most likely the computer he moved things to after Bloodmoon could see the one in the daycare, but that's just a huge guess, and he still hums You'll Be Back. Which is very in context for his virus, honestly, looking at the lyrics. This episode, he strayed very far away from how he originally was toward the end of October. Their outro hasn't changed for almost two months, either. They ended takeout part 2 5 days early, as well with him. Which wasn't like last year. Just, keep everything in mind as we watch 😅.
Could also be the blend of sun and moon, moons social ineptness mixed with Sun’s anxiety

I love how Solar has that ‘I’m not humoring you😑’ brother energy at the beginning of the episode🤣. Ruin is probably up to Something, I noticed a change after Monty attacked him. Monty knocked something out of place and he’s slowly going back to his ‘Saw’ self? Keeping a closer eye on him and running a check or two of his systems wouldn’t be the worst thing to do.
I didn't even consider that Monty's attack could have damaged his system and possibly messed up something with the virus curing process!

So you know how with the new episode Solar killed his Moon, that means the his moon can’t switch our Sun with his Sun’s corpse, Sun could either actually die, but my theory starts at who could actually kill him, what is Lunar loses control and accidentally kills Sun bc Eclipse warned about letting Lunar live in the first place. So much lore and theories :), so much anst :) and trauma. I’d like to hear your thoughts on this too.
@@glitchhoffe1293 I'm just gonna start by saying, I still don't think Sun is going to die. Maybe a sorta coma-death thing like Earth had but I doubt they're actually gonna have him be reset. As for what causes it, I'm now convinced it's going to have something to do with star power. There are 3 possibilities I can personally think of...
A) Sun uses star power in self defense again but is rendered unconscious and severely injured from the blast.
B) Sun uses star power and the Astrals decide to hold a meeting to decide some sort of punishment. If this happens, I doubt they'd choose to kill him after seeing how Lunar reacted last time one of his siblings got hurt. Hard to say for sure though.
C) As you said, it could be that Lunar loses control again and Sun just happens to be standing too close. This is honestly the most likely of the three after Castor's warning... but it's still possible that Sun has to use star power again so who really knows?
@@indodinoyoutube It would probably be a coma rather then out right killing the character I agree with that, I do wonder what would happen if the Astral body’s got involved, maybe they would also put in a coma thinking that Lunar won’t get mad (even though he would) I can definitely see the first one happening to, C feels like the route their going and it would be interesting to see how everyone responds to it. I love these little theory sessions or whatever their called.

On the topic of if the Astrals got involved, I honestly am struggling to think of what punishment options there would be...
Wait, I just thought about this, but it could be that Moon uses star power and the Astrals temporarily confiscate Sun's consciousness as a punishment... so his body would basically be dead but his conscious being would be locked up somewhere for a bit.
I don't know why I didn't think about the possibility of it being a punishment for Moon lol. It actually almost makes more sense tbh. Punishing Sun by putting him in a coma would be way too counterproductive. But punishing Moon by temporarily taking away his brother... that would be immensely effective!
And I think in this circumstance, Lunar would probably be understanding to an extent about it when Castor tells him that he explicitly told them not to use star power and they did anyways. Especially since there'd probably be a few of the Astrals who'd want to just kill Moon and/or Sun and move on rather than finding a short-term punishment and giving them another chance (gives Taurus the side eye).
Curious to hear what you think.
Now they are finally catching on to Ruin's odd behavior. I have a feeling Ruin is not fixed and it's just an act.

I truly do hope they ACTUALLY find a way to fix him at some point down the line. I love his character and concept so much, he doesn’t WANT to hurt people, I just hope he ends up okay 😭
todays SAMS episode was amazing, i loved getting more info on ruin and giving him the screentime he deserves!
finally sun and moon is catching on to ruins strange behavior, im suspicious of him, and im starting to think that ruin never actually was cured and was just putting on an act, we have seen before how well he can act, and when moon was saying him and solar would make ruins new body ruin asking to make his own was suspicious, where did that come from? if he makes his own body and he really hasnt actually been cured then he could add all kinds of features that wont be any good for sun and moon, also ruin tinkering with the broken arcade machine could potentially be his new computer, and sun and moon pointed out how they havent seen ruin at all for the past two weeks, sus.

Hopefully these are just side effects of being cured, like just remnants of his Ruin Virus personality showing because of how long he was infected for. They already have too much on their plate with BloodMoon, threats from the Astral Bodies to Lunar, the creator putting code in Earth, and the possibility of Crescent (Solar's moon) showing up. They deserve a break from at least one threat.
For real... they have 4 threats in total and the last thing they need is a 5th threat from Ruin. Can they live in peace for ONCE?!😟
It's 2AM for me right now, but it's very worth it to know for sure that everyone's okay. Also yay, Ruin's getting an upgrade! I wonder how it'll look- if it'll be an entirely new body, or just a fixed-up version of his current one? Ah well, I guess we'll have to wait and see :-)

Edit: Ruin is probably most likely still in there. I think the antidote (or whatever the thing they cured him with) only nullified the virus for some time. Nonetheless I'm really excited to see his new design whether he's still evil or not!^^
Tbh that’s what I’m thinking is going on. I suspect that Eclipse was only temporarily freed from the virus.
I was thinking he had like a split personality thing, between him and ruin.. it could be a representation of sun in the first.. season? I'm not actually sure. But yeah, maybe there can be a moment where sun talks to eclipse about the possible trauma he might have, relating to the situation.
I'm thinking the "cure" was just an entirely new virus tbh. Like, it cures the original virus and replaces it with a less aggressive, gradually growing virus that is similar to the first but less noticeable for both the infected and those around them.

I really love Ruin, And Istg if it’s just the evil ruin doing an act I am going to cry, Ruin is such a funny character, and I want more of him, which we’ll probably only get if he is actually fixed. Also If they are looking for a villain to take over once they get rid of Blood moon & Rotrick I personally think the moon from solar’s universe would make a much more interesting villain than bringing ruin back would.

It's nice that Ruin/Eclipse is going to finally get his body repaired. But maybe Moon is right. How little he was seen does bring up what could have happened in that time? Ruin/Eclipse could have been hacked. Or maybe he's remembering things when he had the virus? Or maybe he's been infected with a new virus? Who knows? (I want to see the Evil Sun that Moon talked about on Monty and Puppet's Podcast! Maybe he has something to do with Ruin/Eclipse?) Solar and Moon are going to make the things to keep an eye on Ruin/Eclipse that are undetectable on the parts for his new body.

But you make a point that saying, why would the creator make a virus or whatever to make the animatronics better? Because we all know the creator is not good he’s not like other creators in other dimensions. Maybe Sun and Moon can go to a different dimension where the creator is good and if they have the cure still, they can go ask the good creator if he can tell if it’s a cure or not. Because there have to be a dimension that the good creator knows some information that the evil creators are giving each other.

I just think they should do that because they would give out so much good information to Sun and Moon, and they would most likely be disgusted of Sun and Moon’s creator and other evil creators as they possibly would not like them, and possibly would want to give good information to Sun and Moon. And would want to help them. And they would have another good ally on the team. And I would expect them to mostly ask the first question if the cure they gave Ruin, was an actually cure or just another virus to affect Ruin. And maybe they can even ask him if he could make a actual cure, If the thing they did give Ruin wasn’t a cure. Maybe they could ask the good creator if they could make a cure for Ruin. And a real cure.
I agree with moon at the end, Ruin is acting suspicious when he's hasn't been seen for days especially when he asks if sun and moon are still hunting Bloodmoon in a sinister way... Yeah I'm with moon, I don't trust Ruin at all and he must be planning something to get revenge on sun and moon. This will not be good for everyone especially after Solar's moon is going after Solar and Bloodmoon planning to kill sun. 😰
I have a theory that eclipse actually fixed that thing and he's actually still evil he's just pretending to be nice so he can find stuff about them and control that fox from sonic to help bloodmoon
I kind of agree with Moon, Ruin’s behavior is kinda suspicious but at the same time, I don’t want to be like everyone else and assume Ruin was just acting fixed this whole time. Ruin could be bored and wanting to do something.

I'm getting weird vibes from him when he said that he wants to do it without Moon and Solars help... it's making me feel like Ruin is up to something...something is wrong... like Ruin is acting like his old self (his crazy side or when he had the 'virus' and not in control) and pretending to like he supposed to be. I noticed this when he introduced himself to Earth like he did something in her system when he shook her hand (before she got her new suit) ... That's what I am guessing right now.

In other news, Ruin is kind of a little suspicious lurking in the back where all the old arcade games are at, I wonder why there of all places. I mean granted, he doesn't look the best right now so maybe he just doesn't want to worry too many people with his appearance in public.
But still, the fact he's willing to make the body himself is curious.. wonder what he plans to add to it and or what he plans to do. Him asking about Bloodmoon and wanting to offer help in regards to them was also quite curious, I wonder if he wishes to go after him for some reason.. maybe he secretly feels guilt for bringing back Bloodmoon or something. Who knows at this point.
Moon definitely better keep a close eye on them just in case though, whatever his intentions are is.. a little worrying.

i am further convinced ruin is still evil in some way. Him tinkering with the game console cabinet thing could be him making a new computer, him asking about bloodmoon, possibly wanting to re-recruit him or get rid of the threat first, and him wanting to build his own body, possibly wanting to add details or fail-safes or some sort of dangerous tool.

I’m glad that they’re finally recognising/pointing out the fact that Ruin Eclipse is acting odd - they mentioned a couple of times that there were discrepancies in his memories/code when he was first ‘cured’ but then they mostly dropped it until now.
It could be that Eclipse never got cured at all and he’s been acting the entire time, but from what I’ve seen, it seems more like Ruin let Eclipse take back control when Moon gave him the cure, but then kept taking over every once in a while. I think this because the way he talked and acted seemed like two different people. Eclipse sounds a lot softer and quieter, whereas the Ruin virus is loud and has an odd speech pattern where he takes small pauses between some words, as well as rolling ‘r’s and has more of an English accent - from the couple of moments when we _definitely_ heard Eclipse’s voice, he didn’t have an accent.
After they initially cured him, he wanted to help them wherever possible and seemed somewhat nervous. I think that was around the time he was genuinely in control, and I think when Ruin did take over, Eclipse didn’t know. An example of this is the episode when Monty confronted him (I can’t remember the title of the episode from the top of my head) and there were times in it where he would act like Ruin, then the next time he talked, he’d sound a little confused, like he wasn’t sure what was going on for a moment. I’m also pretty sure when he was on the ground and apologising after Monty hit him and knocked him to the floor, Eclipse was back in control after Ruin took over, since he sounded so quiet and somewhat scared, even though just before that, he was acting more confrontational - which seems out of character for him - when Monty was threatening him.
We then started seeing him less and less after that, despite him nearly always being in the daycare before that, either playing in the ball pit or in the jungle gyms, and now on the rare occasion that we do see him, he sounds and acts like Ruin, specifically asking about things like if they’re still looking for Blood Moon, and acting odd. There was also that time he was asking Sun when he would be getting a new body, and he made Sun clearly uncomfortable - he practically sounded threatening, and I don’t think Eclipse would act like that towards _anyone._

i wonder if ruin was hiding in the back because he's fully aware people are still suspicious/scared of him and he's self conscious about it- if so, then poor guy 😭

Loving the bantar between Moon and Solar more and more as these episodes continue. As long as we get more of these two together and seeing their relationship grow im happy with what the creators decide to do when it comes to Solars relationship to the crew 🥰. More Moon and Solar please!!! Loving the Sass 😂 Also loving the conspiracy with Ruin, I was thinking we hadnt seen him around of late so im very intrigued. Im also looking forward to Solars moon suddnely turning up, cant wait for that arc to start x

I’ve had a theory about Ruin for a while, and I can’t get myself to believe otherwise.
Here’s my theory
Ever since they got rid of the virus he was ok, but he acted a bit weird. Ok, fine, he’s just an oddo is all, they are all somewhat oddos :)
It all got weird when he asked Sun for a body.
He asked Sun for a body, saying that he didn’t want to ask Moon and Solar because they didn’t like him, which lets be honest, Moon was probably suspicious from the beginning, and Solar hadn’t really met him a ton, but probably still had suspicions.
If Ruin still had the virus or something against Sun, he would have wanted to make him uncomfortable. (He did when he asked about the new body a thousand times after Sun said he didn’t know. The truth was, the whole conversation sounded pretty awkward from Sun’s POV.
I totally get how he wanted a new body, because it was all battered and broken. I don’t know how he would have thought it was ok though, to make Sun uncomfy like that by staring him dead in the eyes and having that conversation with him after all the ‘virus’ did.

We haven’t seen him after Earth got hurt for a whole 1-2 weeks(?)
Who knows what things he has been doing. There is no absolute way that he has been fixing an arcade game for the last week nonstop.

Short version:
I think he is the supposed ‘virus’. Well, he certainly acts sus sometimes. He might have gotten so messed up from his old dimension and Creator and other robot friends (and if the virus was a real thing: then he also got messed up from the virus).
If the virus was real, then I think that after they got rid of it he just didn’t care anymore and just still felt like he wanted to hurt people.
If the virus wasn’t real… well.
But that’s just a theory.
A game theory.

No idea why or how I read all that but I sorta understand where you’re comin from?- I wouldn’t be surprised if he was up to something behind their backs.. maybe he has something to do with the whole rodrick thing with Bloodmoon? Though that might be a far stretch from just not being fully fixed from the virus- if it even was real?-
Yeah, he just acted weird from the beginning, and I didn’t like it. And then he started asking about Bloodmoon… uhh

I’m guessing the cure that they got was either a prototype, or was never really finished so after a few days, the ruin virus started corrupting him again. Or it’s now an Ai like how Eclipse became to be
