This video should be mandatory watching for patients and nurses. I wish I had seen this before my TURP. My nurse was a little lost when she was flushing clots and sucked up so hard on my empty bladder, I almost jumped out of my bed. Now I know what to do.

I gave up on my urology nurse she was to rough. I learned to do this myself much less suffering. I can flush blood clots and change the catheter myself . The nurse wasn't to happy about it oh well lol

@@AliKhan-fj6bh. I felt perfect as soon as I awoke from the procedure. I had to wear a catheter for a few days but there was no pain or discomfort at all.

You cannot use tap water. The contents must be sterile. Declotting should be sterile too.
