I put one of these in the fairing of my '15 Kawasaki Versys 1000. You use the factory horn wire to TRIGGER the relay coil. I ran a fused red and black 12 gauge wire directly from the bike battery to the relay and horn eliminating the horns load off the factory harness. Mine worked very well. I did the same thing on my ATV also. The dual tone European air horn sound gets their attention.
Yah you'll use it on the highway and some asshole will get all furious because he thought it was a truck and when he saw it was an itty bitty 500 pound bike he'll try to run you off the road. I used to ride in Mass. Drivers around Boston are permanently psychotically insanely angry. I've had people swing nun chucks, bats, and even a sword at me on my bike.
