- In this video I will show you how to create a mobile app for Android or iOS for free using the AppGyver website (link below). I want to preface by letting all viewers know the AppGyver website offers a ton of videos on how to use their app builder, I am not using this video to replace their content, but rather to show how amazing this platform is (I am not endorsed by them in any way, I found it and think it is worth looking into for anyone interested in codeless app development). I highly recommend looking into this website to create a free app with absolutely no coding require. This is one of many codeless application development platforms, but one of the few that is completely free. This will let you use a drag and drop interface and compile and build your own .apk file which you can upload to various app stores, or create a .zip file to upload to a server to create your own website. This is a super quick video, and just remember with AppGyver you get ore control over the process, but because of this you need to understand more to utilize the platform to unlock the full potential.

@7keldio my recommendation is to bring a new paragraph element over this will act as a line break.
@7keldio double clicking the card in the tree (bottom right) gives additional editing not just for the title but the paragraph body too.

Your video was very helpful. But i want to make an app that store some info but the info needs to be updated daily then the users can access it they must be online to access it. My question is where do i put the info and how am i able to update it daily.
That would need to be stored on a database, so you would need an app builder capable of storing data in a database and then query the data. How do you put background image??.....I saw only background colour option in Styles tab.... please reply
Appgyver has an amazing in app tutorial which explains how to do this, I used a container inside a scroll element with scrolling disabled and applied the background image to this container. If you log in their should be an in app walk through at the bottom of the screen, there is a video in those steps with details on how to accomplish this, their help articles are great!

@@ars7830 for this, you can add a container (or scroll view if you need scrolling) then click in the top right to change the padding to make it full screen, then select the image icon and add either am image or a url to an image!
Thank you for the tutoial!!!! I have a question - I want to make an app for selling and buying second hand items. I need users will be able to upload and delete themselves photos and information (of their items) to the app. I can deal with the fact that they will upload and then people contact then threw whatsapp. Is there a way to do it?

I created the app by following you, but at the end my APK download button is not appearing, even status is also "Queued", please let me know what I do?
The download is not available immediately. My understanding is the file needs to be generated on the backend, so typically it will take 10+ minutes. I usually get the download option in under an hour, but i would assume there are multiple factors that play into this. You should receive an email when the file is ready.

Great video Tyler, just want to know if you publish to store or web server for download. Will it have App Guyver logo on it? as most free webbuilds do which is a catch? Please let me know Thanks Tyler👌
You can change it, so no its not required (and it's free to do this). The Appgyver logo is only a default image they have which you can configure before building the App in the "Comfigure" menu of the builder. If you want the walk through you can go to my "How to Create a Social or Sharing App" playlist which walks in depth through the entire process from building to publishing to Google Play.
Strange, it's been well over 2 hours since I selected Build but no option to download is available & the Status has just remained on "created" even after multiple refreshes. Any tips?
update: the status finally changed to Queued. Damn, thats a spicy wait time..
I could be wrong, but it appears as if the wait time is based not only on the app size/functionality, but also the time of day (maybe when the servers are busy). This could be incorrect, but I noticed I get faster builds at different times during the day.

There are forums on appgyver about this. This requires them to make new builds or versions if you get this with the most recent. I would recommend posting in the forums so Appgyver employees have more visibility of this.
Is there way to import your Android app and do editing inside platform?. What about your own source code for Bluetooth?.
I do not believe you can bring in an existing application, I think for this many would use Android Studio for edits. I do not have a source code for Bluetooth, I would recommend searching stackoverflow and github.

I cover adding policies in my playlist on my channel called "How to Create a Social or Sharing App for Free Without Code". This may not work with Admob, I think Ad functionality is being considered but I don't know if it is easy or if it can be implemented yet.
Is there any chance to view the code once the app has been done?
I believe you can use third party services for this, for example you could use android studio to open the .apk file and replace images. You should be able to use your program of choice to open the .apk file to view and edit code from there.

@@Kim-jo5tx No, I only published in Google Play to the US for now to be safe as I do not know rules for this type of app in other countries. When you publish to an app store you choose the countries where the app will be available, so my understanding is this is done in the app store and is not a setting for appgyver. My understanding is you can build apps to be used elsewhere. If you want, take a look at my channel, I have a playlist called "How to Create a Social/Sharing App for Free" where I do everything step by step, including publishing to the app store and opening the app I published.
Hello, I'm still a bit confused on whether or not you're able to get the source code from them? You stated they put advertisements on your app and split the revenue? Does this mean the app is never fully yours?
Appgyver is free, they do not advertise on your app, and they give you the raw .APK file. For the advertising part I was referencing a different company with a similar name. If you want to see an app built and published using this platform I have a playlist called "How to Create a Social or Sharing App" on my channel.

hi, how does one create a webview with appgyver
When you go to the build screen, they have the option to build for android, ios, or web app. The web app is a .ZIP file you can host online (instructions on the site) and they also provide you an appgyver url to direct customers to as well.

I don't know if you mean in app as in a native app feature, or loading a web page in the app. Both are possible, but I haven't implemented in app messaging in Appgyver. You can use my video on using the Appgyver web view to load web pages in your app and the messaging feature in web pages will likely work.

Hello, I want to ask if I want to build an app also can generated to our system and easy to everyone look up their status. Can you suggest me which one of your video should I follow?
This would depend on what you mean by their status. I don't have a series on publishing to specific users, only to a database everyone can access. There is a Playlist on my channel called "How to Create a Social or Sharing App" which shows how to set up log in and posting, this could be modified but would only work if the need is for everyone to be able to update the same database and view it without authentication for accounts.
I would recommend looking into Appgyvers forums if you need authentication for accounts, more security, or additional help on how to set this up for you because my series may not cover what you need.
iOS file can directly we can download here or need MacBook for this for getting app file
For downloading the file you may be able to enable the installation of third party apps to run it on an IPhone, but to upload to Apple I think at this time you will need a Mac/Apple device.

Depending on the functionality, this is possible. Appgyver can work with Firebase to store and retrieve information through API calls, so depending on how you want this information to be sent and retrieved, this very well could be possible! Just make sure to look into securing endpoints to make sure everything is secure.

From my understanding, you may need to connect/integrate third-party services. it may be possible on Appgyver, but I am not sure. I do not on websites like Bubble.io they list videos on how to make app clones, but I do not know what the cost would be. I would recommend looking into Appgyvers support to see if there is any material on this.

You can get a screenshot of this and post it in the forums. I would recommend trying to rebuild the app and use an older build version first. Then, post in the forum and typically withing a few days their team will add comments or the community can jump in (just don't post personal details).
I am looking to create a form of dispatch app internally for my locksmith company either the customer downloads the app fills form then a locksmith tech accepts job and goes. Or a manager sends all Jobs from his admin profile to a tech account. Is this possible?

It should be depending on what you need. If you go to appgyver.com, the home page shows an app example for "Nomad Rentals App" which has a video example of something with similar functionality made on their platform.
Can I build the app from my android phone? I don't have a desktop or a laptop.
I don't think they support touch screens currently but I have been able to make very basic edits from my phone.

I need to make a novelty app that resembles the Alien Trackers used in the Alien movies. The purpose of the app is to fake scan around you to detect things that are not really there. It's just a spoof app. Can i make that with this tool with no coding?
To be honest I would need more detail around specifics but I don't see why you couldn't make something like that. I think it boils down to what services from the device you would need to access and how you would need things to work for example if you're doing a GPS map with some overlay I'm not quite sure how you would do that or if it's possible with this platform. At the very least I would recommend posting in their forums and seeing if anyone has done anything similar.

From my understanding you then connect with them to discuss pricing. The alternative is at that point you could hire a development team as well.

Try using a different build version and updating all of the information in the various setting tabs, if you still have trouble try to post any relevant error message in their forums.

If you are looking to create an app using an android device I don't know of many platforms that will enable you to do this easily but I know that appy pie and some other platforms may have their app builders as an app but it is not free.

It depends on the build version you are using. Try using an older build and see if that works. If the error persists, I would recommend posting a screenshot of the error (leave out any sensitive info) in their forums.

I'm not sure what you mean by verification problems. My understanding is when you build it is for Android and iOS, primarily for Google Play and the Apple App store. I will paste a link below with more information.

@@eminenceacha16 I am not aware of any issues with play protect when it comes to appgiver I have been able to upload my apps to Google play without any issues. You may need to create a key store file which I have a video on, but I think Google Play enables app signing if you choose that. I have a series on making an app start to finish the playlist is called how to make a social or sharing app for free which shows me make the app and publish to Google Play if that helps.

I believe Appy Pie and several other no code platforms have a paid service for this that is more streamlined and easier to use (again this is paid). To your question, I am not sure if it is possible, I know Appgyver has some similar features and functionality, but I am not sure how they could be combined to create the application. Do you know of any way to get an app onto iOS without going through the store where you have to pay $99 to upload?
Outside of distributing the APK file and having users download that from a website and enable the ability to install apps from outside sources (which has security risks), there is not to my knowledge. Setting apps up on Google Play is much cheaper and is a great starting place, but the app stores are regulated heavily so you have to follow their policies.

For Google Play, you need to sign up for a Developer account (they charge a one time fee for this) then when you have your account set up they have an interactive checklist which should walk you through step by step everything you need to do, then you should be able to post!

Can i make an app here that i can upload random people pictures that i took on camera for them so they can download from there. And can i use admob ads there.
For uploading images you would need to look into the Appgyver fourms to learn more on that functionality. I have a "How to create a Social or Sharing App" series but it doesn't cover file uploads.

There are quite a few! I will be making a video on the best online app builders soon. Appgyver can create apps for iOS and Android, I believe many online app builders will allow you to do something similar.

I don't know of any app makers that could do it. You could try hosting that file as a web app and then open the url in the Appgyver web preview component instead.

This would likely be accomplished with Firebase Authentication. If you search for Appgyver Firebase Authentication there are multiple resources online to set this up! Just make sure you also look into securing endpoints to keep access secure!

wanted to know whether the application is absolutely free of cost of cost if its a web app?, since you have mentioned that there was a one time fee u had to pay for google play, is there anything as such for the web app as well?
Fees would be dependent on the service you use. Google Play and the Apple App store both charge. I am not aware of any free hosting service that would not have some form of limitations or watermarking.
Can we make it an .APK outside of google play store?
My understanding is when you create the app file you create the .APK and then you can use this just like you would a normal .APK file. I had to open one in Android Studio and was able to do so without any issues. Appgyver has the option to export as an .APK, export for iOS, or export to publish as a web app.
Could I use this for an online store please? :)

My understanding is this is an extra layer of security. If someone were to hack your Google account, they could upload a malicious app in place of yours, now by requiring this file only people with this file and your credentials can upload and update your applications. I cant speak to the validity of this info or the credibility of the source, but I will paste an article below which covers this more below.

The most common ways to make money including setting up ads on the app, or you can charge for the app. Both Google Play and the App Store require a paid developer account to upload apps (this fee is unavoidable), then once you set up your account you can follow the instructions to publish your app (I recommend watching a tutorial on how to do this first)!

There are multiple ways to accomplish this, I would recommend you look into my playlist on making a social or sharing app on my channel, this walks through how to save information on a database which could help accomplish this, although you would need quite a few changes to make this function the same way (especially to make notes hidden from other users as I don't cover that int he series, start from the beginning!).
