The straight razor is for shaving and the tang is there and the way it's made for delicate work, as in 'you put the thing against your throat'.
Other a straight razor to shave and the wood is just a guard to protect the blade

The Razor is meant to be held between your fingers, not full hand held. You need to go to a real Barber Shop and get a "Hot Towel Shave"!! Plus you get to hang out with real men!! Lol

NOT!! 1 of those blades you described "For defense" is used for defense. You would NEEEEVER! use a slip joint for defense LMAO!
Anyone watching this, please do not use a slipjoint knife for defence. If absolutely necessary, be prepared to possibly/probably lose some tendons in your fingers when it snaps shut.

Fun video but why do you finger up the blades so much? Wiping the skin oils and acids the length of the blade is not in the best interest of your knives.
I was hoping someone else noticed that! Every time, his fingers go straight to the blade. Next time he drags these out, the few non-stainless, high-carbon blades will have his fingerprints immortalized in rust.

I guess every handle is made out of bones and bread. Knives are now called utility knives. If the knives are dirty, it’s because of the price point there was nothing there more than $20 bucks.

You certainly got your 100 bucks work. I am not sure how many will actually prove useful but the amount is there.
That's a straight razor, aka cut-throat razor. You hold the blade with the handle at an upward angle so your pinker reats on the tail of the blade where it curves up. Now safety razors have replaced all these straight razors. It is NOT a knife like regular knives.
Most of the other knives look like the crap on the knife shopping channels on TV where you get 35 knives for $50.
I'm familiar with smkw. What you get with these grab bag deals are the junk pieces that don't sell.
I actually have two that's just a little larger than those small ones you got and my wife called it the Lorraine Bobbitt weenie wacker

Smokey Mountain Knifeworks is great! I have a smaller folding pocket knife than what you showcased. Its completely made of brass and is sharpened only 1/2" long and about 1/8" wide. I beleive its from the 60's or 70's. Also have matching pair of functional scissors.

Hey not smart . The folding razor is supposed to fold all the way till the blade exposed when it is tucked into the wood opposite of when it is closed so you can shave your feet calissis with it . The movies brought them into fame but they are not for faces like the movies want you to believe. You can see them in use in the series Deadwood .
The 2nd knife, the turquoise knife is a dive knife, a crummy one. Drill a hole in the bottom of the plastic sheath so water drains. A bad blade like that will rust after the first dive. Looked like a bunch of Chinese junk.

They are all pretty but none of them keep an edge I have a lot of Rough Rider Knives if someone likes one I just give it away. I got a whole bunch of knives from a friend that passed away and I give them to people at work to keep him around.

First, it's a straight razor for shaving. Such an oblivious new gen of humans. I mean the best knife there would have to be the Mora of course. The rest are simply bleh. The Barlow used to be a great knife and Marbles used to have a good thing going but they sold out to China just like the rest. The ones that may be US made are the lowest of the low quality as well. Novelty knives to give away. Keep the Mora. Toss the rest. They made $80.00 off you :D
