    Pack up your sunscreen and don't forget your sunglasses -- Southwest Airlines is now flying international! Today marks a huge milestone in Southwest's international future as we launch inaugural nonstop service to three Caribbean locations: Oranjestad, Aruba (AUA); Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ); and Nassau, The Bahamas (NAS).
    These are just a FEW things you can do in these gorgeous destinations...
    Where will you go?

      They are talking about doing that in the future. Southwest has many future plans to travel to Tokyo and other great places. They just recently started flying to Hawaii. People are saying there's going to be a fare war going on between Southwest and other major airlines

    Southwest should experiment transatlantic flights and get some widebody aircraft. WestJet of Canada had an all Boeing 737 fleet like Southwest but wanted to try entering Europe so they got 4 767-300ER aircraft and recently ordered 10 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. I know Southwest wants to fully commit to the 737 but can still be an all Boeing fleet with Boeing widebody aircraft

      Yeah, I know. That was just my opinion and I doubt that Southwest will go in that direction

      I read an article saying that in the future, Southwest wants to fly transatlantic flights to Europe, as well as Tokyo and parts of Asia. The only problem is the 737’s they have aren’t capable of flying that far. They are looking into buying the 737 max once Boeing works out all the bugs with the aircraft.

    People fly on this airline and think its really nice and then they fly united with more destinations and more luxurious aircraft and seats. I wouldn't fly them again unless I was on a big budget because a vacation is a vacation.

    • @evanwaters1074
      @evanwaters1074 Před 8 lety +2

      +True Franck Not anytime soon. They want to stick with 737s, and I don't think they could afford 777s or 787s.

    • @truefranck
      @truefranck Před 8 lety

      Train Gamer 529 Productions but don't soutwest make a lot of money already?

    • @evanwaters1074
      @evanwaters1074 Před 8 lety

      True Franck
      Yes, but it costs too much to have maintenance for a 777 or 787. The price of 1 777 is equal to 4 737s.

    • @truefranck
      @truefranck Před 8 lety

      Train Gamer 529 Productions isn't that actually cheap for a big company like southwest to buy? Or is it the maintenance price that cost 4.737 monthly or annually.

    • @evanwaters1074
      @evanwaters1074 Před 8 lety

      True Franck
      The lowest cost for a 777 is 261.5 million. At maximum for a 737, it is 81.5 million.
      And they already placed orders for 150 737 MAX 8s.

    Does Southwest ever think about CAPTIONING its videos?
