I was able to get my daughter diaper free in less than 2 weeks, thankfully to the curious nature of kids and the tips in the videos.
I suggest you get a potty to use for about one week before getting a children's toilet seat so as to get them to start adjusting to not using a diaper.
Once you get a toilet seat, he/she will be eager to go do what adults do in the bathroom too.
Diapers are expensive..and not having to buy them or the hassle of changing them..or draining potty's is a huge relief.
