Glad to see you enjoying the show so far. I just wanted to try to clear a few things without spoiling anything, hopefully.
The best way to think of the Demi-Plain is like it is it's own pocket dominion. Before the contract with Makoto it was just an empty black void. Of course you what it's like now and it's no wonder the Highland Orcs decided to move there from the Wasteland.
To answer your question about if anyone can braking into the Demi-Plain, that's yes and no. For most beings on that world they don't have the power to do so. Like you figured out, Shin lead the spider there to see the fight. She never thought it would go like it did. But of course if the Goddess found out, she could break in without help from Shin.
As for the contract with the spider, it's the same as Shin at 80%-20%. You're right that he past out because he used so much mana. You saw how big and far that water arrow went, lol. As for not being able to use wind and healing magic, there's a side story in the WN that explains the whole reason behind that. With any luck we might see that in the anime some time down the road.

Kai is Divine power given by Tsukuyomi. Since both Makoto and Tsukuyomi are both middle children he felt sorry for Makoto in the first episode and poured as much power as he could spare into Makoto. The combo of going overboard giving extra power and contacting Makoto after the Goddess ditched him is what sent Tsukuyomi into a long sleep.
