They should have said that Mark was whispering in Jackson’s ear at April’s wedding to stand up and say that he loves her.
I mean it didn’t work out in the end so even if he did, I doubt he’d want to take credit for that :p

It is the same with the fairground horse ride thing Carosel or Merry-go-round people call it different names

Everything about this scene reminded me of someone else. Mer is on a carousel, which reminded me of Mer and her mom. When Mark says you should tell someone you love them I remember him and Jackson.I remember him telling Lexie that he loved her as she was dying. I remember how much Mark loved Callie and Arizona. He loved them in different ways but he loved them both, so much. I remember how much he loved Sloan and his grandson, and how he wanted to protect them. I remember how he was with Sofia. He adored that little girl; and he would've done anything to protect her and keep her safe. He was so proud of her, even in the short time he had with her. I hate the fact that he and Lexie weren't there to see her grow up, but they both would've been just as proud of her as both of her mothers are. I love that Mark has watched over Callie, Arizona, and Sofia. I love that Lexie has never ever left Meredith. Mark and Lexie have never left their families; they care about them so much i don't think they could ever leave them. I am so happy that Mer is able to close so many chapters of her life in healthy ways before she wakes up. These characters and this show saved my life. I will be forever grateful for that. I only hope that they give the characters we all care so much about a proper ending.

a small detail i like: when mark says "if you love someone you tell them", meredith never knew he said that before. that means it's really mark talking, and not meredith's imagination

I am really glad that Mark gets to watch his precious and beautiful daughter Sofia grow up and that he and Lexie are together in death and they are happy. Its a beautiful moment of closure for some wonderful characters.
When he said if you love someone reminds me of season 8 finally when he told Jackson to bring him Sophia when he was referring to lexie im sad that they killed him bc he was one of my favorite characters i always thought that him and Meredith would sleep or date

Basically, yes. She's in a coma and dead people are visiting her through her dreams. Or if you don't believe in that, her subconscious is speaking to her in their voices, I guess. But I personally like to think of it as them reaching out to connect with her from beyond, while she's in a twilight state between life and death and they can talk to her in a way they normally can't.
