Years ago the Flyers, who I hated, were playing the Russians on a televised afternoon game. I never rooted so hard in my life for Bobby Clarke and the rest of the Flyers. They physically beat the Russians up. One of the greatest games I ever saw. Root for the Rangers because you know your Dad must have had the big guy’s ear last night.

This was a thrilling series..for both teams.. usually the home team wins game 7. Penguins are old. Still an exciting series. Not to spark controversy, but I truly don’t think the hit was anything - he fell awkwardly. I compare it to like the non contact football injury where it doesn’t always have to look bad to have an impact. Sid and Jacob embraced in the handshake line too. Gotta love hockey!

I think this is it for the Pens. This was a do or die year and they failed. With uncertainties of where the core is headed, next season could be a big turn backwards. I knew the series was over when the Pens blew game 6. Not excited for the off-season. GG Rangers.
