The Backrooms are basically a bunch of randomly generated, basically infinite levels of man-made structures that has a bunch of different fanmade stories about it's origin and what exactly lives there. Kane, the person who made this video, has an entire series about his version of the Backrooms and I highly recommend it

To enter the backrooms you gotta “no-clip” into them. No clip as a term originated as a video game cheat or exploit where the player character would be able to move past walls and barriers and that means the floor too. You can fall the through the floor and the see the entire game map of whatever game you were playing above you, while below you a boundless void dangled beneath your feet.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 thats clipping, when audio reaches a certain threshold of loudness, it distorts, creating unpleasant experiences. think of No-Clip as one word, and the other as Audio Clipping
Kane Pixels is so talented. The guy's like 15-16 years old and he made this. He has such a huge future ahead of him. His Attack On Titan videos are insanely good too.

Kane is my favorite canon. Follows Scientifical reasons why this is happening, and why that is happening. And he doesn’t use the so called “levels”, I’m happy about this because it makes this feel like the original backrooms post. Definitely recommend watching his content.

Ah yes, one of my favourite of new horror stuff! My personal theory is that the monster/s are actually humans too, perhaps looking like that due to being in the Backrooms for so long. So what we percieve as an attack, might be the monster seeing another human after who knows how long and being like "hey, we can get out together! Why are you running? Get back here, I just want to talk!"
So it’s kind of like the SCP parasite that changes peoples appearance but they don’t realize it 🤔
They are actually Bacteria.

When Bethany said "Into the green room.." I was reminded of the canadian sci-fi horror movie *Cube* from Vinzeno Natali, maybe someone knows it from 1997.
No one cared about it when it came out, but I think it has a very strong, creepy atmosphere, no frills and lives from its characters. Who has not seen the, definitely get times after. It is worth it.

At that last frame before the fall, the character was taken by the monster, which is why he wasnt screaming

Kane deserves film awards for this. Not only should Kane have Backrooms feature film rights, Lionsgate should hire him to direct a Blair Witch movie, because the breakout success from Kane's work is something I haven't seen since the original Blair Witch came out. The franchise is in a good place now, he could do so many amazing things with it I bet.
Probably has to wait until he is 18 since labor laws and such are tough for under 18 in film industry 🤔

This version of backrooms are about A-Sync co. Discovered the infinite storage space that's called "The backrooms " where things are a bit....odd in there.
Ranging from human killing creatures called "Bacteria", to time jumping events that randomly happen to people who wandered in there.
One of my fav react channels stumbled on the backrooms? I'm so in. If you pay close attention and/or slow the video down toward the end, you'll see the creature grabbed him and kept him in the backrooms. The camera still fell to the "normal world".
Oh damn 😯😳 Poor guy. Well, maybe it’s for the best as that fall would’ve killed him 🤗

Making horror with impossible space and an abstract monster pretty good for a 16 year old kid.

The most incredible thing for me was when I found out that all this, all Backrooms is CGI! Kane disguised this very skillfully through VHS-like interference, camera shake and (partially) sound design, where you believe it's real because you hear natural sounds. But seriously, the first time I watched this, I was wondering where he was filming such strange rooms!

The part at 5:27 and the part right after where he looks through the window are both popular backrooms photos. As a backrooms fan, I loved seeing those appear. The inside courtyard place through the window is called Level 188.

Also, Kane is 16 as of this year, and all the following videos on the series are 3D animation, with only 1 later one having real actors in it.

I actually slowed down the last part of the video and the guy didnt really get grabbed, the clear puppet flew up towards it and weirdly looked like he was attacking the creature but the arms were just raised up, it was like marionettes so yeah, it was weird af which I have the video if you want to see it for yourself.

it’s crazy how kane pixels is making such amazing horror content at such a young age! 90% of the stuff in his videos is entirely computer animated, yet it looks like live action. he’s made a lot more videos about his rendition of the backrooms, you guys should definitely give it a watch :)

Basically, how you get in “The Backrooms” is like a glitch, but in real life. The atoms that make up your body fail to collide with your surroundings, and you fall into “The Backrooms”. There are creatures in The Backrooms that are very dangerous, and there are so so so many levels. I highly recommend you keel watching this series from Kane Pixels, It’s really great. (BTW Kane makes these videos in CGI, and he’s only 16!)

fun fact. When the monster aka "Cable guy" Jumpscared the camera at the end it got the dude recording so only the camera fell and he got killed
He didn't die falling to his death go back a few frames and see he got caught by the throat as the camera falls.

Right at the end there you can see that the guy doesn't get knocked off the edge but just the camera falls showing him being consumed by whatever that thing is. Pretty damn cool detail there.

I recommend you guys Mandela Catalogue. It is a great series of analogue horror which is a kinda new horror kind that is a lot different than the others. Warning it can be disturbing

Fun fact: it’s safer to go in the backrooms if the only anomalies in there was scp-096 it’s easy to just NOT look in his face..
Someone isolated the monster noises and it makes it even more unsettling because its a bunch of distorted "dont run, dont go, dont move" phrases. It adds a lot of depth to wondering what exactly the monster is supposed to be but makes it uncanny when what looks like a broken video game object chasing you is making cries for help.
Looking closely on the last few frames before the camera falls from the sky you can see the monster drag the guy away as if he's a Walmart bag so im gonna go with dont listen to the walking spaghetti.
But it could also be saying don’t run and don’t go as a trick 🤔
It is heavily theorized the creature is living mold that takes the form of a tripod camera (Cause of a later video that takes place before this event)
Also, apparently from Kane, the creator , he refers to the creature as Bacteria

At fhr end i saw hiw you guys thought that thr character had fallen onto the shute, but if you look close there is a human ragdoll on the entity meaning that he dropped the camers and the character died.
If you're doing found footage stuff, be sure to at some point do (arguably) the most interesting found footage/analog horror series on CZcams, Mandela Catalogue by Alex Kister, what makes it so great is there's not a lot of jumpscares but it's scary in more of an existential dread kind of way, the images/sounds/style paired with the unknown uncanny valley of what's in it (not saying to avoid any chance of ruining it before first impression) really makes it something that has haunted me and some of my horror fanatic friends, and we don't scare easy

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Actually no, the Backrooms isn't an SCP nor Creepypasta. It's just a story from a 4chan post back in 2019. It did not originate as an SCP and even if it was it would absolutely be impossible to contain. There are always people who think the Backrooms or other things such as Siren Head (Look it up if you haven't heard, it's also creepy) as an SCP. They get the wrong information and then spread the wrong information. Just trying to clear the wrong information.
Also, nearly every single channel who reacted to the video thinks that the guy was pushed and fell to his death. There are very few channels I know that know the truth.

Oooooooooooooooh. I saw some odd camera cuts and it seemed like real filming so I never guessed that... Like everytime they drop into a hole it felt like a camera trick, which wouldn't be necessary with cgi, but other parts were more obvious like the two shots of them seeing multiple floors.

At the end, the dude actually got caught, so only the camera leapt out.

There are heaps of different renditions of the backrooms, the original classic creepypasta concept was basically, a few floors (0-10 I think? Might be wrong) and the only way to access was to basically fall out of the world through, no clipping through a wall or floor. And over time the fanbase created monsters to add to the world, this version of the backrooms has more logic behind it and is more sci-fi then paranormal liminal space horror but it's still very cool. Some of these monsters or, entities are neutral, friendly or aggressive monsters. And some even have human intelligence or greater, over time colonies of backrooms wanderers formed and trades begun between these groups, the most popular organisation called M.E.G rules a lot of the Backrooms. There's potentially a limitless amount of floors but the most easy to rememeber ones are the first 0-11 or 12, Level Fun and Level Run for your life, which are some of the most well known among backrooms fans usually.
It’s just really cool seeing creativity being built upon these SCPs and creepy works 🙂😀
the original backrooms 4chan post does not mention anything about levels but does hint at the presence of entities in the backrooms

@@backpack_hermit25 at the end of the 4chan post it says "God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you" this clearly hints at the presence of other entities in the backrooms. but this doesnt mean that i dont like backrooms without entities like Matt Studios poolrooms

But if not you will eventually turn into one of those things. . at the end where he gets caught by the monster if you pause it you can tell its head resembles a stretched out humanoid face and depending on which level of backrooms you get stuck in the monster's will vary in appearance too.

The backrooms are a dimension created by the negative space formed from buildings that exist, each “layer” of the backrooms have a different theme and house different beings that have become trapped, or were born in the backrooms. Technically one can travel to any location in any universe should they fully understand the quantum shifting, organically growing spaces, and should you avoid hostile entities from other dimensions, however managing to turn the right way to slide between the rooms of the walls, or managing to find a door where no door should be, is both not the easiest and not the most avoidable.

You like horror and the confusion of not knowing where you are or what you will face, right? You could try Prey , a sci-fi shooter where, there a very weird alien creatures who escaped some form of containment, but what makes them horrifying is that they can transform into any object, so you'll have to face seeing 2 trash cans and not knowing which one to hit, there are bigger aliens, but the most common ones that might be slightly frustrating is those which can mimic any kind of object, also this game does allow you choices on how to progress, whether it's using the alien's power through syringe enhancements (you might not enjoy how the protaganist uses those syringes) or using the syringe enhancements to upgrade some more human qualities like hacking.
I really wish I remembered more about the beginning, but all I know is too little, you were in a simulation which you break out of, you apparently were tested before sighting your first mimic and that's about it.
