The one benefit of the insane amount of product we're getting is all the set reviews I get to watch haha
Set reviews are some of my favorite content, even if the release schedule gets a bit much at times 😁
I guess I’m glad someone enjoys them, I find them much less interesting than other content (which would presumably be made in the place of set reviews should there be less sets)

21:35 Leonardo da Vinci: Commander of the Lime Scooters, General of the Buick Legions, and loyal servant to the True Emperor; Lord Urza. He will have his vengeance in the set or the next.
Shao Jun can also replace Ingenious Artillerist in Malcom Kediss as the 3rd pirate hack creature, replacing the artillerist.
I immediately thought of Malcolm Kediss when I saw Shao Jun. I'm not sure its better than any of the other pingers though since it cant kill all opponents if the difference in lifetotals is too high. I would have tried it in addition to the others.
I would love to see Ian have a go at building his own version of Yuriko and seeing how much it differs from the standard lists

Davinci is super cool, but I do really wish it had a 2nd color.
But having a backup wincon in his first ability, while making ur artifacts instant speed and uncounterable is pretty dope.

If you're doing big dumb artifact nonsense in Leonardo you may as well run Akroma's Memorial to give all your thoppy bois haste (and all the other keywords).
I think Alexios having trample doesn't matter when it comes to chump blocking. Even if a creature has trample, as it's controller you can still assign all damage to the creature.
You could but you wouldn't. Where as with double strike from slicer they can just chump, with trample they can't
@@fitnesshunter6302 You might not, your opponents might while they are controlling Alexios. Slicer games often become a 1v3 till Slicer is pacified so you often want to keep your opponents alive.

Yup that’s why the Slicer discord isn’t on trample effects. Trample having the mechanic doesn’t even make sense tbh.

U can't belittle someone and use no offense beforehand to not sound like an ass. I like Callahans control deck perspective even if they haven't converted as many top 4s as ian.
Considering almost every assassins creed video game has been the same auto generated crap forced out by a big corporate stooges it’s kind of appropriate this is the next magic set also.
