I'm still using my S 21 ultra. I own it. The camera is phenomenal, the display is excellent, the processor is great, it's got 512g memory with 16g of Ram and now I'm going to keep it for another year after this latest update . I know ots getting android 15 too but i will probably upgrade before that. Only phone I liked more was my note 9. If that had 5g I might still be using that phone.

I had the Motorola edge 2020 and Motorola only gave 1 update and(phone cost me $500 USD) 1,5 years of security updates. The signal on the edge 2020 was bad, I had to use WiFi calling all the time but with the Galaxy 14 5g I get over 50mbps and calling on 5g works perfect without WiFi. I play a few games (works perfect for me) but not many so I am happy with my phone.
Only 1 update and then security updates is really garbage, I thought Motorola was better than that. At work we have a lot of a14, it's a budget phone and works fine, but, when I see that samsung is putting to the side top smartphones after 2 or 3 updates I kinda don't respect that
My s21 ultra is factory unlocked but still stuck on OneUI fof nearly a year. No updates available and yet it continues to inform me within the Security and Privacy settings that there's an update available. However, whenever I tap the "update" button, it tells me there's no update. It's irritating me and nobody can give me a real answer that works. I've tried everything from resetting my network to factory resetting my phone and using smart switch to force an update (it says my device isn't compatible with firmware upgrades) to even trying to force an update with Odin. But that even fails. Are there any other ways I can try at least getting the latest security updates? I'm already bummed out that Samsung and Android is fragmented to hell and extremely unreliable and unpredictable. I hate feeling like I spent nearly $1500 on a device that was only serviced for 2 years. Saying that it's frustrating would be an understatement
@DANIELCHUKWUKERE I got the US version which is the one Samsung offered. I could've got the Exynos one by having it imported from a 3rd party. But Snapdragon has always been the better processor. Don't get me wrong though, the device is still snappy, though it can get a bit warm when doing moderate to heavy tasks in Sunlight in the summer. It would just be better knowing that zero-click vulnerabilities are patched out and that it's still supported. Samsung is offering $550 for it for a trade in to get the S24 right now. If it's got a base price worth more than my 4k TV which is still supported, the S21U should also be supported
Recently updated my s21 ultra to Android 14 UI6 and now i notice the camera has an option to choose the resolution you want to use to take pictures. For the front camera the 10mp seems to be producing better pics than 40 mp. Is it my phone only or has any else experienced that?thinking of reseting and going back to android 13

S21 would also get Android 15 since Samsung promised 4 years for the S21 series. They made no such promise for S20 that's why it didn't get this update
No. The S21 series will receive Android 15 and One UI 7.0, with security updates up to 2027.

Well the 40mp uses the wide option, even on Android 13 I never took pictures at 108mp on the back, always at 12mp

I think you are talking about the wrong device. S21 ultra doesn't have an s pen, has dual sim and doesn't heat for more than normal use
