    Thank you so much! by the time I finished your video it all come back to me❤ from 50 years ago .
    (I used to hand smock all my baby daughters dresses when she was born
    As. she got into grade school sizes I just bought the Polly Flinders all the time😂)

    Just found your channel but already hooked,To prepare my fabric for hand pleating do I need to double the width of my fabric?

      Hi Maryam, thank you for your kind comments. Traditional English Smocking is pleated with a 3 to 1 ratio, so usually the width of the piece would be 3 times the finished width.
