Silica gel protects from humidity but may also suck up the leather’s natural moisture. Key to maintain leather bags, is to use them regularly. Wipe before storing, and allow it to breathe. Don’t keep in the storage for too long. Hope this helps 🙂

You have a good bag collection. Pinagisipan talaga. All are functional and classic and not just bought on impulse or because they are on trend. Thanks for the idea regarding the bag protection. I plan to get myself one of those especially for travel. A good option to putting down your expensive bags on trays at the airport security checks or on the floor during flight.

It’s a good idea to put your travel bag in another bag that can be used as a shopping bag, I have some Kipling foldable bags that I use for travelling but now I will use it to protect my lovely bags too!
