- Each year after the Dodzy Memorial Enduro, a crew tries to rally for a heli trip in the Richmond Ranges. If the weather plays ball, there is always a good amount of people ready to go on an adventure. This year the weather was mint and Matt organised the transport so that 50 of us could head for the hills!

What. The. Hell. The most epic of all your epic clips. Had it all, melting brakes, Bradley scaring off every pig in a 10mile radius, Jamie actually burning so much brake pad it needed a wee adjust. Bradley dropping a C bomb. Hahaha absolute gold gentlemen!

Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve got a few more trails from The Wairoa Gorge but they are just smash laps with the crew of you’re keen to see them too I can whip something up. A LOT of heavy breathing though

This one was a private trip with Nelson Helicopters providing the shuttle. For the first up lift it’s around 1700??
Would be my dream to come ride with u guys but I just don't got the skills, confidence and the funds as I have to pay for mostly everything that goes on with my biking and plus I've not long got a new bike still trying to get it set up properly
That’s the best bit about biking is that all you need are the trails to meet your ability and confidence 🤙 there are loads of trails over here easier than this one that are still a good time. Get your bike feeling good (hopefully without spending any more money), ride consistently and you’ll notice improvements.
Is helicopter the only way to the top? I’m in Nelson in March that would be a prime trail to ride
Hey 👋 you can hike that section to the top. It’d be a decent slog. You could try Wakamarina which is right next to it (and on Trailforks) and it’s a touch easier and not quite as far.
