This one is hard to pick. I loved the point and click version for the pc, very nostalgic towards that one. Especially liked it whenever I could play the other characters like Plankton and Mindy. But gba was also really good. Wasn't able to get my hands on the console version until much later but that one was amazing as well when I finally got to play it. Loved to patty wagon levels.

I like the GameCube version because I grew up with that version but I would have to say the Xbox version is better in my opinion because it looks more nicer, the load times are faster than the GameCube version, and every level runs at 60fps including the driving levels. Plus the Xbox version plays in 16:9 widescreen.

@@ip22343 Not to mention in the GameCube version of the SpongeBob movie game, the opening "in game" cutscene for No Cheese has different music. The other versions of the cutscene use the music from No Cheese for the in game cutscene.

I got both the PS2 and GameCube editions. Graphics really don't matter as long as you have fun. Notice that some lighting effects were removed in GameCube, probably because the disc-size for GameCube discs compared to DVDs.

I've been battling myself of whether to get it on Gamecube or PS2! Revenge of the Flying Dutchman has a PS2 glitch but that dosen't affect the Slim model (which I have) but It still scared me for some reason! "I might as well have my SpongeBob games in the same place", I said to myself! "You have a Wii anyways", I said in my brain! Now actually seeing this, I feel lost again & I've ignored Xbox!

@@CosmicSponge2004 I'd say get the GameCube edition since you have access to both line-up of SpongeBob games, plus the various Nicktoons crossovers on both. Creature from the Krusty Krab is on both GameCube and Wii and I heard the Wii one has motion controls (Depends if you're a fan or not), but has improved performance and less glitches while GameCube has glitches not present on PS2, but standard controls. Your choice.

It has come to my attention that, The PS2 Version of Nicktoons Unite has exclusive cosmetics from having other nicktoons games on the memory card. On 1 hand, that means I'll get the movie game on PS2. On the other hand, I means I have to have 2 of the Nicktoons crossover games on PS2 & 2 of them on Wii (which are in completely different parts of my house) AND I need to buy those Tak games if I want all of Nicktoons Unite's content! Which Also makes me think about Creature from the Krusty Krab & Nickelodeon Party Blast!!!

You know, I think I stick with the GameCube version (as for the console version we are talking about) since I notice the light effects, too bright and that can get to bother in certain parts (Take as an example the part inside the monster at the level of the trench) instead the lighting effects of the GameCube are more natural although I admit that some effects should stay (like the bright lights of the Krusty Krab in the first level of the Xbox version and the colored lights in the final boss)

All of the Patty Wagon levels + Bubble Blowing Baby Hunt and Google Eyes and Smelly Knick Knacks are capped at 30fps on GC, while the other versions are a near constant 60fps. If you dislike the lighting effects, PS2 is probably your best option. (Though Xbox is the only one to support progressive scan and widescreen)

@@SamMorgan you can make it widescreen with adjusting the tv picture. It’s not that hard. I have a pal Xbox and it was letterbox but then I adjusted it into full screen. It looked so much better. Still 60hz btw

@@minanmikki8945 Legit just made a video going over Widescreen on the OG Xbox and this is one of the games I tested so you reply is timely! Notable that this game uses your resolution setting to determine if it'll be widescreen and it's the cropped method. 480i will be 4:3, 480p will be 16:9.

GameCube version definitely sounded worse. Nintendo should have tried to make their disc capacity greater than the ~1.5 GB they went with. Hell, Dreamcast games stored only half a gig less, and their technology was based off of CD rather than DVD like the GameCube. At least double would have been nice, and probably gotten more 3rd party support.

If Gamecube used real DVDs, it wouldn't have failed. It has better first party games (in my opinion) if it had a good enough capacity for all the other games & DVD/CD support, it would've been better than the PS2 in everything but memory card icons!
