i expanded on your farm and added a few coal/iron totems here and there, its gotten so powerful i cant find enough t2 input/output chests to last one afk session since it fills up so quickly, tysm

It’s pretty big but it’s also laggy and some steel farms have 1 smelter hooked up to 4 mills

For 5 floors of this farm: 20 smelters 40 steel mills 20 filter conveyors 40 conveyors 40 iron totems 40 coal totems hope this helps!

1 smelter = 2 steel mill = steel and other items needed to craft gearbox = money = more smelter = more layers = infinite

I had an idea if you want to use 4 steel mill each smelter
Just put a timed chest after the smelter, then the coal and iron will enter the steel mill at same time( which makes no dispawn if the coal and iron don’t stack in front of steel mill )
ok good idea, but how we supply item for timed chest?
use totem? then it will be too much item at input of the timed chest

@ion ruby "more consistent" meaning more consistent COMPARED TO FILETERS. what this means is the materials you need to craft, and that you don't have to set the filters with an item. I said RANDOMIZERS ARE STILL RANDOM in my previous comment, so why would you ever think I meant RANDOMIZERS ARE MORE CONSISTENT THAN RANDOMIZERS by that comment? That logically makes no sense.

For me the coal doesnt balance out on the steel mills or smelters even when upgraded so most of the industrial stuff is just clogged
You know this farm is efficient when it takes you 15 minutes to empty out your chests

My farm is one smelter feeds 3steel mills and 2 randomniser so it’s quite balance but I can’t afford that my money to buy so much smelters if I had the money I would make this farm and I’ll learn you want things to run smoothly and you don’t want any despawn which is very understandable
I like the farm but I have a huge problem with it, near the collector, sometimes Steel will get stuck in between the conveyers, or even in it, how do you fix this?

tried using filters on my set up with how you have it an well..... its pure shit as one side favors coal ALOT an other side favors the iron just like the other side favoring the coal. Leading in issue where often am having very lil steel made cause of the unbalanced favoring of the materials.
have tried adjusting the upgrades to the totems raising an lowering action speed an drop amounts to try an get this to work.

yes its true your design is better than the 1smelter 4 steel mill even tho the 1;4 haves more layers your design makes more and the design is very clean and not look like a waste land 10/10

i would upgrade coal totems to level 3 for smelter and level 8 steel mills {efficency}
how are you managing the rng of filters as i am having issue where either each side of it will favor just the iron an other will favor just the coal or one side favoring both the iron an coal. In both case there still afew peices of of material going in to have ateast 1 steel mill going.

i built one layer the balance between coal and iron in smelters is awful sometimes 3 iron no cole sometimes 2 cole no iron

@@idontneednameok6570 after 2hours of afking still the same problem but still i made 1280 steel bars in 2hours with one layer *25 is 32k/2h or 16k per hour so this wasnt clickbait still ty for this awsome design looking forward to see an improvement in the future

I made this farm and I make about 280k per day and I'm thinking of making 15 efficient copper farms on my base too. Will this increase despawn by a lot?
umm the steel farm already reached the despawn limit so i don't think u should make copper farm

@@pinklovergamer3409 Yes for me this is worth it but it is laggy(because of my potato pc), I think the lag is always present in every design like this so I suggest building them far from the spawn point

Did u put 2 conveyors then put coal totem?
If u put 1 conveyor first and put coal totem then put another coveyor, it won't work as a randomizer

Do you know how to fix the glitch when steel inggots go through the conveyer and fall to the void?

Nah, putting a block under the conveyor will make the item get stucked after going through the conveyor by glitch then it will make other items get despawned.
so don't put any block under the conveyor for in case when item go through the conveyor it won't get stuck by any block and fall out to the void then get despawn itself.
also stair is better than conveyor (less change to get glichted)
