Tee, I completely understand! My grandmother holds a special place with me as well. We were very close also. I was her first grandchild. I lost both of my parents and she was still here. She passed away 3 years ago and it still feels like it just happened with me also. I learned so much from her. The values and morals she instilled in me I will forever cherish. Tee, as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother my prayer has always been to be to mine what my grandmother Julia was to me. I'm 63 and she has been gone 35 years yet, I still have a hard time even thinking about her without getting emotional because I miss her like crazy. She passed away, but my love for her keeps living.❤❤❤

My grandmother who raised me died in the early 90s and my other grandmother died in 2000s and I can think about them and just start to cry like they just left😪. My grandmother has been gone almost 40 years and I was extremely close to my grandmother, so I overstand how you feel, you never get over it but you learn to live with the physical absence of their presence but know your grandmother watches over you all and is extremely proud of you and your family and is honored you chose to honor her and carry her memory on through Rein. I remember those curtain pins. Matter of fact, my mom is having a fit because she's looking for gold curtains and every curtain she finds has those grommets. My mom is 89 yrs old and she likes old school pinch pleated curtains. Lol.

Can I just say that I like that you have a tv in the nursery. Cause it's tough sometimes as a mom, especially when you have more than 1. Our babies room share with us until I'm ready to kick them out which is usually around 7 or 8 months old. But we have 4 now and baby girl turns 1 this month and is still in our room because our 2 year old son is not ready to move out of the nursery yet and in with his older brothers. But also, I've not really even truly considered moving her out, yet 😂 she's our first girl, so I have just been enjoying snuggles a lot.

💛💝 The room looks fantastic. I understand the loss of a grandparent. I lost my mom’s mother in 2010. I was in Italy when she passed. My ex was stationed there. I originally wanted to name my daughter Evelyn Grace ( after both of my grandmothers) but when she came my current husband and I changed it to Aurora.
