In this drama, Jodie has gone up in my estimation as an actress. She played that conflicted, vengeful, jealous, poor cousin character Marissa to perfection. There were no unnecessary tears or screaming, inappropriate smirking or elaborate gesturing. Subtle but effective. Her anger, fears, love, remorse were more real as her emotions were all reflected in her eyes. Bravo Jodie you should win an award with your stellar performance in this drama.

"Kapag ba dumating na ang panahon na yun sasalubungin mo ako?" This line makes me feel sad for Marissa. Seeing your child die first is a torture for a parent. Walang magulang na gusto ilibing ang anak nya. Mas gusto ko na ako yung inililibing ng anak ko than the other way around.

Am I the only one who wanted to see more scenes of happy life btn marrissa and avil, they were my fav couple. the story was great different from other Philippine's dramas I watched and I bet many viewers thought that Marrissa was the bad guy but later it changed which makes the story so interesting. thank you guys.

it was a kinda sad ending but realistic, this is a lesson that tells us that friendships can be broken, but can be repaired but can also not go back to the way it used to be. in marissa and ellices case, the bar was so high they obviously could not go back to being best friends, but they had closure and are at peace.
Pero minamadali ang filming , - for example naghihingalo si Marissa sa ospital , tapos next scene , naka kontodo make up na sya .
As I said before, the last two major acts of Ellice (trying to kill Marissa and pleading guilty to crimes she did not commit) are far, far, from being realistic and sensible. But of course the writers have the prerogative.

@@eb8839 Ellice pleaded to all crimes that Marissa accused her of, JUST to appease Marissa, as a token of gratitude to Marissa for taking the bullets, and to end all bickerings between them. Ellice even asked forgiveness for not knowing what Marissa had gone through in jail, which is so diculous, to say the least. Wasn't it Marissa (including Lucing) who kept everything secret (and even lied to) from Ellice? Anyway, make sure to defend Jody as a rejected wife soon in her upcoming teleserye.

Kudos sa lahat ng cast at all behind sa serye na ito. Dahil kahit sa kabila ng newnormal na nangyayari ngayin sa mundo at malaki ang epekto nito dahil sa limited ang kilos nila pero nagawan pa rin nila ng paraan at maganda, super ganda pa rin ng kinalabasan ng serye nito.

The truth didn't come out..... Ellice's father was the root of all of these bitterness, anger, revenge, heartbreaks. Their friendships were real and truthful but Ellice's father put the business first. Ellice and Marissa did have a very good friendship. But the writer got lost with the story lines.

I understand if this is how it ends. Mahirap pag nawala na ang trust lalo na sa pagkakaibigan. Maski gusto mo ma ibalik ang dati ay di na pede dahil may lamat na sugat. Ganyan din halos nangyari sa isang so called na kaibigan na tinuring ko parang kapatid. Tinulungan ko siya makahanap ng trabaho sa Manila at makarating sa America at pati ang nanay ko ay tinulungan siya pero sa bandang huli ay na traidor kami ng mama ko. . Matagal din taon na gusto kong malimutan. ( 35 years ) Mahirap pero mas mabuti na hindi ko na siya makita para magkaruon akong ng peace sa life ko and to move on.

I beg to disagree. Very unlikely for a woman to to do what the character of Ellice did, given the circumstances that her family is back while Belen and Cesar are out of her life alteady. For Ellice to actually have Marissa killed is more believable in Book 1.

It is realistic that a scorned wife with an infant daughter might resort to killing if her husband and the other woman with their infant son are leaving the country to get married and stay in the US. This is exactly the opposite with Ellice's situation in the ending; she has no reason to kill Marissa.
The writers continuously propped up the character throughout this teleserye as someone who is not actually capable of murder by deed, but then at the very end decided to make her a criminal, seemingly on a whim.

of course i’m gonna miss this telesyre as a whole, but something i will really miss is the scores & music. this show felt like those series where they have these signature notes, that get played in different versions & instruments. i don’t know if anyone else noticed, but this show would play soundtracks and they were the same notes and keys but just through different instruments & higher or lower versions, & it sounded so good! i would always play it on my own time pretending like i’m marissa. haha, nakakaiyak ako 😭 pero, i hope that there would be a playlist where you release all the music done in this show so i can listen to it.

i love this show. ever since it ened i always feel so sad, non stop crying, i honestly felt depressed, i still feel depressed, it's taught me so many lessons & the storyline was just good. i hope for a new season.
