Role of the Modern Registrar

The role of the modern registrar is complex and broad reaching. The registrar frequently holds a unique position within an institution. After all, they have the ability to simultaneously influence institution-wide policies and practices related to academic affairs and student success. They also have access to-and an understanding of-a broad set of data and use these data to identify pitfalls and areas of success, and to advocate for data-driven student-centric policy, practice and the application of technology.
This webinar engaged in discussion with a panel of AACRAO members about their perceptions of the role of the modern registrar, and the role they can play in supporting their respective institution's transformation.
