I love how everyone was so caught offguard on how method acting is learned or executed. Akane perfectly shows how method actors do their preps for upcoming acts. And yeah, in the entertainment industry, it's pretty much known that theater-trained actors are generally more skilled "at acting" than most screen-trained actors.
Theatre actors have no redos, so they have to pull off the scene right then and there live.
Bro the way Akane mimics someone is fantasy level, give her a small bit of information and she can even know what you are thinking of at the moment, your preferences, your mood every damn thing.

It's even more uncanny because of the animation. AI was animated in a particular way, so to see Akane's voice, tone, mouth, eyes, hand movement, EVERYTHING mimic AI perfectly is extremely crazy.

yeah the VA of akane is legendary asf she can imitate Rie's voice.
Fun fact , Rie mention that during the interview for oshi no ko,she personally was aiming the role for Akane and offer her self to the production team because she is a fan of the manga and she likes Akane.But a few days after the interview ,the production team told her that they have to declined her offer because they had found a suitable VA for Akane and ask Rie be the VA for Ai instead. Now we know why.

前の話まではアカネの世界だったから自分が全ての人間から叩かれてるように見えたけどそれをより俯瞰して見れるmemちょがサイレントマジョリティの存在を示してそこに働きかける。って言う流れが見事すぎて好き。アカネのキャラ立ちだけじゃなくてmemちょのインターネットマスターお姉さんとしてのキャラも固まったいい回だった。
あと石見さんのアイのトレースうますぎるだろ。吹き替えの人たちがハードル上がって大変そう。
I feel like some people don't consider the visualization of the eyes, and it can get confusing... But I'll just state that Ai's "stars" are a visual metaphor for her "sparkle" or just "shiny" character. It makes it all the more impressive implying just how much Akane was able to embody the "spirit" of Ai and it shows.

I don't want to spoil much but one of the director calls them who have star eyes as someone who have the power to make lies look like truths, this actually makes sense since everyone who have stars in their eyes at some point are either Lying or Acting, just like when Akane is acting in this episode. the reason why Ai have star eyes is because she has been lying her whole life, while Aqua or Ruby have one star probably has something to do about their reincarnation, they are lying about who they truly are but at the same time they aren't because it is their new life.

Umm actually the star eyes just represent lies and ambition so when akane "over analysed" ai she became just like her means that she's lying about her identity also notice how the stars were gone after her acting unlike Ai cuz she literally lies 24/7

Not to mention she already is famous for something. ..until we get to know more about the eyes and what does it really symbolize.. Whether did Akane obtain those eyes because she was acting like Ai.. or is it because she is in the zone..who knows.. she probably has those eyes everytime she performs in a theatrical setting.... But Im sure theres more to it..

I personally believe the real meaning the eyes is either ‘ambition’ or ‘desire’ mixed with the talent to accomplish said ambition.
It just to let us, the audience, know that Akane is now perfectly acting as Ai.

I had the same reaction as those two at the bottom middle. I just had the biggest smile, w/ eyes wide open, and chills running through my whole body, during the whole transition of Akane's transformation into Ai.
Mephisto's music running on the background, flawless animation of the transition, Aqua's reaction, and finally the full reveal of Akane turning into Ai. It was epic, perfect and an awesome ending to an episode. BRAVO!
the way akane investigating ai's personality like a detective are natural i understand when she was reveal she's a great actor in theater cause in theater, actors need to act as a already made character in a story for example alladin, so before they do a "play" they always research their character role anyways her acting skill are perfection asf she literally became Ai herself it gives me goosebumps
P.s if you want to know more of theater theres also airing anime right now title "World Dai star" its all about girls doing theater, they also have and activate their sharingan eyes when they doing a play lol

Kinda wish they explained the stars thing in their eyes. But still, Akane gave me goosebumps at the end. So good.
Just a visual thing for viewers to symbolize "Star potential", so it is implied Aqua and Ruby inherited "half" of Ai's innate talent each. To the other characters they look like normal eyes, just maybe more attractive of sorts. Akane is method acting and studied Ai's behavioural patterns to a degree where she just transformed into Ai when acting.
Kana will soon get her mangekyo sharingan and battle with akane will be legendary
