5:21 - I really loved this detail. It's such a good progression throughout the video. It's awesome to see how much work goes into cheating perspective on things like the actual size of the set and other things like that.
Also, it's really good of Tom to've done all of the preliminary testing shots, so that you didn't take any extra time away from Toddy getting back out on the hunt.
The Toddy and Ben #AD was the best thing/short movie i have seen in 2021..
And i watched that Black widow movie too!
I've watched the Toddy and ben #AD 3 times just for the banter of ben and toddy... they need to do a series of shorts where toddy goes on adventure's and he just shows up at the pub to tell Ben about them while ben struggle's more and more with finance cause he's always off adventuring.
But then Toddy always brings back some treasure in the end that just barley pay's the bills for the month lmao

@@rellek4053 I was thinking along the lines of if he were a faction leader, whenever he's voiced (like KF's "I AM PRINCE AND EMPEROR" etc) for him to have maybe a line or two that's just flat out "IT'S TODDY". etc. But like, on rare occasions lol I could see it become rather tiresome if done too often. Or maybe have a "toddy mode" in the options where it is literally just him shouting various lines whenever he moves lol

I thought this was a legit professional brand deal video all shot and produced by professionals, extra impressive that it was a Yogs production (without that sounding terribly patronising) super awesome work guys! I really hope we get more stuff like this because the talent on show is definitely deserving of more screen time. Also a great, fun behind the scenes video.

The video turned out beautifully because of the sense of levity that was present the whole time. If the subject was taken too seriously at any point it wouldn't have worked out as well. Because this was combined with a concept that I already loved and professional execution of that concept it's now one of my favorite videos on the internet.

The direction for the shots + the scene dressings were really really good.
From the video, it felt exactly like this sort of, hole in the wall rustic tavern, and watching the video I initially was blown away wondering like, bruh, this looks like it must have been insanely expensive.
Where in the hell did they get this many people?? Full outfits, everyone and everything looks appropriately grimy, and where on earth did they find such a big, fully medieval tavern set?
I specifically thought "I know they have that one underground bunker place they can film in, but it's not this big and this place looks nothing like it, surely it couldn't have been there right?"
But damn, this is so good.

5:19 Credit for the background actors that looked like they were still doing their part even as Toddy ran out of things to say. Also props to everyone else involved! I can't imagine how many times it took to film each scene and that's not counting the stuff that was potentially cut out too! Also didn't realize Gemma, Josh, and others were hidden in this! Wow!
