  • From the grocery store to the gas station, budgets are getting tighter across America as inflation cools ever so slowly. The new Consumer Price Index report for April will be released Wednesday, which many analysts believe could come in hotter than expected - even though inflation has fallen since its peak of 9.1 percent in June of 2022.

I predict a housing crash due to people buying homes over asking price, lacking equity if prices decline further. Foreclosure becomes likely if they can't afford the house, and selling won't yield profits. With anticipated layoffs and rising living costs, many individuals may face this situation.

I suggest you offset your real estate and get into stocks, A recession as bad it can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too

America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

The worst of this is the cost of housing buying or renting and the price of autos. We may have to downsize houses in the future. As for autos the more technology on a car the price goes up. I remember in the mid 80s a ford ranger or Chevy s 10 would be advertised brand new, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, bench seat, automatic transmission, thats it ! Most were 2 wheel dr. Price if i remember 8,500 dollars.

    AU$500+ a fortnight groceries for 3 people
People are leaving Sydney as it is simply not affordable.
Rent has gone up over 200%
    Fuel: AU$2-2.40/litre
Hotels etc everything has gone up...
McDonalds Au$35 for 3x sausage and egg mcmuffin meals

Corporate profit from 2020 to 2023 has almost tripled to 1.5X in only three years, but from 2012 to 2019 it grew only by half of a percent. There is no longer a supply chain issue, yet they keep increasing prices.
