There are exploded parts diagrammes for everything on the net, plus manuals for nearly every bike can be found on the net as well, also, he filmed it so he has a record of what goes where. :-)

Awesome! The break lines were hanging a little to loose, considering the miracle you have performed, that's a small detail. This color scheme would Look awesome on a CB 250 if you could get your hands on one.

Yes, those brake lines were about to break !
Replace bad parts, fix repairable ones, make new parts & make do.. beat it to fit, paint it to match. My kind of fix.
I had almost the same exact bike (basket case) -- guy sold it to me said it was a 90cc but I was pretty sure it was a 70cc just like this engine.
Top end about 35-40 mph.. I liked riding it out on nearly abandoned desert roads. It was great fun until I wrecked while drunk on Thanksgiving.
Honda did amazing things with stamped and press made sheet metal parts., Strong as can be!
I hated the toe/heel shifter, I would up cutting the heel side completely off with a hacksaw.

How on earth do you remember where every little part goes?!?!?! Takes extreme patience and skill to be able to undertake something like this.
I know, if only he had some way of filming what he did.... Then he could look back at the video and see where the parts go.... If only there was some way he could film it.....🙄

@@brentcarl6621 Thats what bike restorers do tho, take loads of pics along the way to refer back to. Plus, there are exploded parts diagrammes for nearly every bike out there on the net. Trust me,It looks more daunting than it is.

Beautiful! I remember driving one of those in my youth about 50 years ago. When I seen it in the beginning I would have crapped it. You did a wonderful job restoring the bike even if it's not totally original.

It looks good, but I see many spots where your paint is coming off already. You really should have used a baked on paint and added clearcoat, because unless you are selling this quickly to make a profit the paint job will not last

Did you put any sort of rust converter on the fuel tank as it looked like you cleaned it as best you can but did not treat it before filling and painting surely it will just come back through the paint in time
