- On our latest vlog we took a day out to the grand opening of The Lost Cauldron. This is a Magic shop / Harry Potter Themed shop run by CZcamsr @cherrywallis
We are big fans of her videos and so couldn't resist the 2 hour drive to see Cherry and her gorgeous new shop.
We had a great day out and the shop is lovely.........we were also lucky to receive a special edition FIRST 500 BADGE!!!
The lost Cauldron is situated in Matlock in Derbyshire which is a lovely little town in the Peak District.
We were really excited to see the shop and meet Cherry Wallis herself as well as Leslie (Who also owns a similar shop in Falkirk called The Lonely Broomstick)!!
We will certainly be returning to both the Lost cauldron and Matlock in the future.

I just found your channel because I've been following Cherry for years now. I'm absolutely bawling right now because I'm so proud of her! Thank you for your view of her shop. I wish I had the opportunity to travel across the pond to see it for myself.
Ah we love Cherry too, we regularly sit down and watch the shopping hauls and unboxing 😆 the shop was amazing and all the staff made everyone feel so welcome 👏

@@goldenangelz thank you that’s lovely hearing about the frame 🖼️, The Lost Cauldron, is so exciting to see and watch from afar, back when Harry Potter movies 🍿 all came out, 20yrs back in Australia 🇦🇺 the only stores that did things like this store, were the Warner brothers studio /Movie world stores on the Gold Coast.
They were so excited.....I think think they were definitely star-struck 🤩
Yes, it is so nice to see little shops like this popping up more....long may it continue! We will definitely be back again....possibly christmas when everything is extra magical ✨️

Great video! I loved the driving part, that countryside is incredible! Especially the rock walls. You don't see scenery like that in Florida. Cherry's shop looks terrific!
Yeah, we are lucky that there is so much beautiful countryside near where we live but we don't get the beautiful beaches, wonderful weather and all the theme park magic that florida holds so it all evens itself out 🙂 Cherry's shop is lovely and there are so many beautiful things in there, we will definitely be returning there. Your right about the beach and theme parks, I'm a Disney passholder, and practically live at the parks.😅 My goal though, is to get over to England. The history of your country is amazing! Thanks again.

Yes there is plenty of beautiful historical places over here. If you ever do make it over we highly recommend Chester, one of our favourite cities 😇💜💙
What a fun family outing - thank you for taking us with you! I'm in Alaska, USA and that's pretty far away from the UK. Maybe I'll get there someday!

Had to look that up as I had never heard of the high peak. Never realised the sheer size of the peak district, the fact it was split into different boroughs or that it stretched into so many different counties. Every day is a school day as they say. Thanks for watching and for classifying the region 🙂 💜🩵😇

Oh my word. We expected a queue but massively underestimated how long it would be. A few things had sold out by the time we got in there but there was still plenty to buy and it was so worth the wait 💜💙😇
American here chiming in😊 you’re correct, two hours is just a short day drive. I drive to my grandparents over three hour one way every other week to check in with them and others in my family. Leave at 6am spend the night and head back home at 6am the next morning at the latest, if not the night I got there😂

I think we are a little spoilt here in the uk when it comes to travel. Everything is on our doorstep near enough.....from our home to Lands End in Cornwall is a 6-8 hour trip....depending on traffic 😆

Here in the USA we do/don’t have pay phones which hangs on the walls at places and hangs on telephone poles.
We really don't see public phones in the UK at all anymore.
In our village (the one red phone box that is left)it is used for a book exchange 😇💜💙
