Good luck! Femara and the trigger shot worked for me and now I'm almost 13 weeks pregnant. I'm due in May. But from all the RE appointments my husband and I met our deductible (over $3k) so now everything is 90% paid for 😁

I have ubdergone my first IUI - no fertility issues despite the age (38). I am a Choice Mom. 💓 Hence letrazol & trigger shot. Scan before IUI showed a follicle 20mm which was great.
3rd day after trigger shot & IUI- ovulated yesterday. Exciting!!
Hey Britt! Found your channel the other day. I just had my 3rd IUI but 2nd with Femara so I'm hoping for success like you!
So the button hole is for you to attach the napkin to your dress shirt so that you don't spill food on your nice white dress shirt. I had no idea either but found out a few years ago after asking the server.

Can’t wait to see your cost video- my insurance only covers three medicated rounds of IUI (and I’m hoping and praying that’s as far as we need!).
Heartbroken for NorCal though 😞. I was stationed out there for two years.
Mine doesn't even cover that ugh. Mine covered some of the meds, no ultrasounds and supposedly some/all of the procedure day up to a certain point (still waiting on the claim). Once I find out what it covered from the IUI day itself, I'll do the video.

Britt Hanlon same here! Btw, I just signed up for Stitch Fix and filled everything out. Is there anything else I need to do? I’m hoping this gets me out of my comfort zone with solids and my black-colored clothing 🤞🏻

I also did an iui i am supposed to take a home pregnancy test Thursday but I'm soooo anxious and nervous because I haven't really noticed many major symptoms but congrats on your successful iui! 😁

thanks for all the detail! It's super helpful. I just had a follow-up, finished Clomid yesterday (3 pills for 5 days), & the nurse said they were looking small. Did anyone else experience that? I go on Wed to see if they grew 🤞

Britt Hanlon did you have to pay for injectables? I paid about 600 out of pocket. That was copays, medicine, and everything included. My next iui in a few months will be with clomid and trigger. Was yours a success?
+Beautiful Soul I did, but just the trigger. All my other meds were oral. But trigger alone was almost $200. Have to just wait and see ☺️ I purposely delayed the videos to give time to update friends and family personally first about whether it was a success or not. But I should have an update soon! But I didn’t use clomid. Clomid never worked for me 😞
I'll definitely do one! I'm waiting to see what my insurance covers of the procedure day itself (since that is just about all it covers). Once I know that, I'll do the video!

Love your videos/your journey, my partner Heather and I are going through the same process in trying to have our first baby via IUI. Just finished my first round of Letrozole and go in for a scan in 4 days. IUI should follow shortly after. I’ve been diving deep into CZcams couples going through the same thing. Hoping we have our baby soon!

@@amandaasmith741 yes! I got pregnant my second time we did the IUI and my beautiful son turned one 2 weeks ago!! Starting the journey to baby #2 this month! Just waiting on my period to come so I can start the medication and go in for the IUI some time late January/early February!

@@amandaasmith741 yes! My sister just did a medicated cycle (just letrozole No IUI) and is 5 months pregnant with a little boy. I also have a good friend with 6 year old twins from her IUI. She did one round and ended up with 2 babies. It can work!

I think if we decide to do IUI I would be laughing throughout the procedure. I work on a dairy farm and breed cows, basically AI breeding a cow is exactly the same as IUI. if anything I would understand what it feels like to be a dairy a cow

I just got inseminated via IUI on the 9th.. I’m supposed to test on the 25th (in 5 days) 🥲 but I had an expired test (I know... I just used it out of curiosity) .. came out negative and now I’m really sad. I’m trying to keep my spirits up for a positive in 5 days!!!😭😭😭 pray for me!
