DIY - How to change the fabric on a headboard

- I normally post cooking videos! But... The other day I decided to try and change the fabric on my headboard. I have been tired of the dark colour for sooo long! It is much more visible if it's dusty and I just really wanted a lighter feel in my bedroom.
It turned out it wasn't hard at all! Actually it was under 50$ to do. I didn't remove the old fabric, so if there comes a time where I want it dark again, it is easy to just remove it again. (But I really doubt that feeling will occur)
All you need is:
An old headboard
A staple gun
New fabric
2 thin fleece blankets to make sure there isn't any old color, or buttons shining through

Thank you! It makes me very happy to hear. It really was super simple, and recently I learned another way of doing it is to buy a linen duvet cover at ex. H&M Home and then just pulling it down over the top of the headboard, folding the excess behind the headboard and then just staple it on. Thank you for watching and good luck! ❤️

You’re welcome! Its so easy. Actually since this video I found out you can buy a linen duvet cover in example H&M Home and just pull it over the headboard and then you have a brand new color 😍

You’re welcome! It’s so easy to do to brighten or simple it up. Another good tip is to buy a linen duvet cover from H&M Home and then pull it over the headboard. That is even more easy to do! Hope you enjoy and let me know how it goes 😄

I bought it locally but its a beige linen/canvas fabric! You can use any fabric you like 😄
What about the side boards on the side of your bed?
I dont have side boards on my bed, just the mattress pushed up against the head board 😄
