When comes to gameplay PES is from another planet compared to FIFA. When comes to entertaiment and stuff that buys FIFA has all the facilities to take your money and enjoy even you don't care about gameplay.
Thatâs completely personal. I canât enjoy a game that has f1 cars instead of players. Gameplay is broken and isnât enjoyable at all
Finally someone that uses his brain! People don't care about the gameplay anymore. It's all about unpacking and get 99pow players.
On fifa players don't run they drag on the pitch. Full of bugs, unreal as fuck, but people love spending money to get those fukin stickers.
Pes is back, but if they don't get the licence people won't buy it.

Iâve been a fifa head since the 1st release & always creased up my lips at the slightest mention of PES..... but after 3 attempts & actually giving it a proper session youâll actually have an epiphany. You can pass, move, create moves, defend & score spectacular goals. Itâs so easy to express yourself. Went back to fifa after 2 weeks & done stray passes, clumsy defending & my GK had an IQ of a potato. It highlights how massively poor fifa is. Its an embarrassment to the sport.
Rewards are better, you can build up your players stats, itâs way easier to get legends, more rewards for your play.... MOST OF ALL.... it captures the essence of a football match completely.
Kits & badge update files are always available for that authentic feel.
The fact that KONAMI was prepared to let the mainframe of 20 roll over to 21 so they can produce a better game next year shows they actually care about the players & the community.
If anyone in EAâ domain ever says âcare about the players & the communityâ expect nothing but a lifetime of cold fisted buggery & crude acts with horses đ€Ł

Listen on the pc you can get patches where you can get stadiums, faces, kits, crowd noise, badges, adboards and many other things made by the community so overall itâs a good games with mods, I am a fifa youtuber saying this ffs (a very poor one)

Moved from Fifa. Loving PES on PC. Fully modded. 600 stadiums, all kits, few 1000 faces, few different sountracks, intro server, team specific chants, goal songs plus tons more.
@FIFA07Pro yes league's. I'm running 140gb of mods on mine. I also like FIFA. But hated 20 and 21. I've just bought FIFA 17 as I'm told it wasn't as bad.

@@Vizeh there are gameplay mods out for fifa 21 in case you want to check them, your mod series last year was amazing and I'm actually having fun gameplay-wise in my save with it
Actually you can't on xbox (the platform vizeh plays on) but you definitely can on a ps4 or a pc

The stadiums look way better now due to upgrades
Also you can mod turfs you can get goal songs, new chants and commentary , new leagues club and tornament anthems before and after games, new cutscenes , kits for evey tournament and a shit ton of other stuff

And I would love to see you play a burnely master league on pc with mods, you will absolutely become addicted to it

You've naturally gravitated to the proper football game now, it was inevitable.
And you are correct, you can mod the hell out of the game if you have a PC and it doesn't just stop at the kits and the real names, there's realistic camera angles and television broadcast touches as well, not to mention there are graphics mods out there that make the game look even better. Just do some searches on some of the incredible stuff people have been doing.
I cannot go back to FIFA until EA completely overhaul the engine and change their entire philosophy on their game development.
I'm gonna have to get it on PC, but I can deffo get it on the channel more!

Now I'm not saying that Pro Evo is perfect, it has its own issues, but it is another planet ahead of FIFA in terms of raw physics, mechanics and realism.
I play on fully manual controls. It's really tough at first, but once you get used to it, the realism of the game goes to the next level, especially in terms of the sorts of chances you can create and the way the players can be caught out by clever balls and realistically have to react.
@@Longlostpuss i have bought it recently and i am a lot more frustrated with its gameplay than i was with fifa. What i hate is that
1) My teammates constantly start attacking runs, and as soon as i pass the through ball to them, they stop running, and i loose the ball.
2) the first touch is terrible most of the time, and i have recieved many goals just by my defenders fucking up colliding with eachother and it looks like a bugfest sometimes.
3) The BIGGEST frustration comes from the unresponsiveness of the game. For example when i try to make a quick pass, sometimes (maybe because of a horrendous first touch) it takes more than 1.5-2 seconds to pass, and by then, i cant change the direction of the pass, like in fifa, or in real life for that matter, i could. this makes it pretty hard to make quick pass combinations.
Btw I only play myclub, and have to say its a lot better then fifa ultimate team, as you can easily get the best players without paying for ingame currencies. So i still play because i have a great team.

You can mod almost everything in pes.
You can have graphics mods, gameplay mods, stadium and tunnel mods, intro mods, face mods, etc.

I sit down for hours creating graphical mods for this game and still release it for free

Long time pes player here: on pc there's a whole market for modding, i actually used to play PES 13 with modded patches with names, badges, kits and transfers from 2018 for a 2012 game, which is mental. Also some patches removed glitches like the blur on replays, and also allow you to control stuff like referee strictness or scoreboards or other stuff. Only downside is that those are strictly for offline play (of course), and they normally are a pain to keep up with, as many modders update their patches multiple time throughout the year. Bottom line, it pays off massively

I clicked on this video faster than a EA video... and thats the sad truth.
You can get all the kits, badges and names on ps4 and pc. You can get stadiums, new faces, overlays, adboards, manager faces and more on pc.
As a mainly FIFA player who's dabbled in pes 18 and now PES 2020 season update, I can honestly say I loaded it up, started a career mode and got into my first game....I can honestly say wow! I loved it, but the gameplay....is a big slap in the face at first, especially with passing at level 1, it's really quite tough, for me anyway. đ€Ł However it is rather enjoyable.

in all honesty..manual passing in pes looks so smooth..fifa graphics and shooting with pes passing and physics would make one beast of a game
Ngl i used to dislike pes for no reason just because I played it once didn't really like it as I was used to FIFA. But I downloaded PES 2021 for PC and watched a video on how to add some mods and now its actually insane. Graphics are better than FIFA and the gameplay is much better after you've changed your old FIFA ways. Only taken me a day to get comfortable with the basics. PES with licensing would be insane. I'm glad we now have real competition to fifas copy paste each year

In PC there is a patch that adds like 1000 stadiums from almost every country in the game, you can also add leagues, teams, more icons than what PES originally offers you and a lot more, the PES community of PC is actually sick!
I feel that the best thing in pes is that they give u the win when someone leaves

Pes gameplay is far better. Fifa is just speed and wingers, cut in, cross or shoot. Rinse. Repeat.
Pes is complete garbage. The players are too clunky, canât shoot, canât pass and definitely canât take a touch, canât take shots, sprinting is not even good and there is barley any control, the bots score 99.9% of free kicks, skill moves are shite and limited, the music are trash, modes are very limited, THE REFS ARE COMPLETELY RETARDED which is in my opinion the worst problem because it happened 100% of games, team spirit shit is actually stupid, defenders are way faster than attackers for some reason, through balls donât work, goal keepers are really bad,I donât want to sound salty but the game is definitely scripted like when you tackle it almost always go back to the opponents and sometimes it can happens for most of a half. If u are planning to buy pes 2021 DONT Iâm telling u save ur money. The only plus side is the graphics and thatâs it. And Iâm talking about 2021 cus 2022 looks like a ps2 game

You can mod it on ps4/ps5 too btw. It was like 15 dollars for all licensed kits competitions, balls etc. all you need is a usb drive.

Mixing up manual passing with assisted passing, is the best way to play the game for me. In some situations it's beneficial to play manual passing, because the ball trajectory is scripted in an specific angle - even if there are players from the opposition between.
I have been playing PES 2020 for over a year now, I can safely say is way better than FIFA, glad you gave it a chance. If you come back to play again, to ask for the ball is tap R2 twice, or RT on the XBOX controller twice, yeah, its that weird lol

Actually i only played pes bc peter drury was a commentator but i never realized i was actually having fun with it
PES is actually fun in PC cause of the mods just like how you told. Stadiums, the licensing, the score boards, trophies etc. all are there and they make the experience so much better
Only Serie A and coppa italia and suppacoppa are fully licensed with trophies for all them except both Milan clubs are exclusive to EA and no Brescia.

@@arjun. Aye and yes PC is probably the the best experience for PES in regards to mods but at least PES 2021 Konami did a good job on the Italian competitions as I've had a blast with AS Roma

In my opinion the major difference between konami and ea is that Konami focus on the the game play, cinematics and animations while EA spends all the resources on new content every single day instead of making actual improvement to the game
This was actually a fair review for a FIFA player, but play it a bit more and you will actually fall in love with PES.

I used to get pes for the pc and mod it, it was well good, you can put the proper stadiums in there too
Before playing Pes, you should download an option file so you can have most of the teams with their originals kits. After that, it becomes the best.
What FIFA has it the whole visual experience, you know, licenses, stadiums, Martin Tyler and a pre and post-match that actually look like a TV broadcast. PES lacks that, and even with patches it might seem a bit simple sometimes, but then you get to the gameplay and it just destroys FIFA. The IA movements (from both teammates and opponents), the variety in strategies, the ball physics... Everything (once you get used to it) feels real
