It's always interesting to see things from the actors' perspective, Robert's view of Klaus is really amazing, he really pictured the character's motives and background and he managed to deliver a great performance, actors really are artist.
Robert sheehan is an amazing actor , umbrella academy is the role he deserved. Anyone who has missed it umbrella academy is fantastically good.
Part of me likes to think that the character was written for him specifically.
Robert kinda dresses like Klaus would even. I have never seen a more perfect casting.
I actually though he was like FUCK IT I WILL BE THE CHARACTER ON AND OFF THE CAMERA
While watching the series I was struck by how perfect he was for the role. He stole every scene he was in.
Netflix do that to The cast, in inerwiews they need to dress a bit like their character :)
I kept looking at Robert when Tom talked and he looked like he was talkin to the dead at points, at others he just looked spaced out, love that

It was even hard to see it as a superhero series, the characters are so well written and the story so different and well made. Amazing work really.
Hans Von Mannschaft Absolutely. I felt the same way about Misfits when it was around - I only like superhero fiction that isn’t all about super model types being perfect, basically. Deadpool was another one I actually enjoyed for the same reason. Give me heroes with flaws, dammit! 😂

I've seen them in other interviews with interviewers that weren't forced laughing or head over heels for them and it's always far more comfortable and fun.

Any time someone brings it up I get so excited. I'll start explaining that it was written by Gerard Way who was founder and lead singer of mcr. My friends ask me questions about what's going on and the next season as I have the first two comics (apocolypse suit and Dallas) so I'll show them the original drawings for the characters and I found the clay molds and concept art for Pogo online which is so awesome. I feel like I'm in this special club who know about the time Gerard wrote all of this and released it and yeah I know it's the MCRmy but I just feel really included about this and I can share the excitement. I'm so proud of him and his work that everyone's loving so much.

Hotel Oblivion is still being written lol. I've been on the hype train for a good five years and I'm super proud of Gee too. From its early roots during the Revenge tour, to being released during Black Pararde era and now it's a TV series (which Gee has created music for with Ray ahhhh) I'm so proud of him. The Umbrella Academy is a masterpiece. Favorite MCR song? Mine's Vampires Will Never Hurt You :D

The Umbrella Academy is pretty great, but also go watch Black Sails which has Tom in it and Misfits which has Robert in it.
I enjoyed all of Black Sails, but Misfits dropped off for me after the first season. Writing-wise. So I'd really only recommend the first season of Misfits 😊

I will say, I read the comics when they came out and I've been a massive fan ever since, when they first announced that there was going to be a life-action show I was super worried about how my best boy Klaus was going to be portrayed but Robert did an absolutely smashing job, he portrays Klaus so well, it's unbelievable, I'm so happy that he was cast for my favourite character, I adored him in Misfits so I was always hoping he was going to do a great job, his acting style is so free and improv which is luckily enough, also Klaus' character.
Robert Sheehan is amazing and he did awesome with Klaus. Klaus is definitely my favorite umbrella academy characters

To be disabled yet superhuman, choosing to subdue himself with drugs to silence the emotional turmoil. Such an amazing answer from an otherwise chaotic actor but the interviewer took that answer and then asked about CGI... this is probably why Rob never gives serious answers
