I relate so much about your relationship with your sister. Identical of how she was to you , my sister was to me. I made the decision to not be in contact it’s been better for my life. That makes me so sad about your sister but I agree if someone is abusive or makes you feel down regardless blood or not, the relationship isn’t worth it. I’m glad you touched base on that because toxic is toxic regardless of blood relation. Love you always ❤️

Could you make the video on your relationship with your sister? I have an uncle who was incredibly verbally/mentally abusive to me when I was younger and it still leaves deep mental wounds with me today. It’s so hard being around him because I’m so close to his daughters (my cousins).

Nina, I agree with cutting out toxic people from your life. I can relate, as I was also treated differently by my family and had abusive rude sisters including my mother treating me terribly. It affects me till this day. I tell you, like everyone else who agrees cutting out toxic people, its the best thing to do. You can then live your on life without having to feel so bad and low about yourself, by others. Nina your brave talking about your sister and family. Well done. Alot of us experience similar things. Its nice to be able to relate which makes me feel I'm not the only one who had to removed people out of my life. Best thing I ever did too!!

Hi Nina, I would love to hear more about how you were able to break free from abusive family and feel empowered by it, not guilty. I'm at a point where I can see what I need to do but don't know how to make that break without feeling immense guilt for standing up for myself.
What if both your parents are just verbally manipulative and abusive to you? How do you deal with that? I kind of distanced my self from my parents but I cant bring myself to fully cut them off in my life. I see them maybe 3-4x a year and the space has made me feel very good but guilty at the same time
you can love people from afar, creating space is respectful as well... so if your religious or you just believe in honoring your parents... this is the most beautiful thing you can to do preserve your relationship with your abusive toxic parents.... they may not be big or mature enough to see the wrong they do and change... but seperating yourself and not engaging - prevents and helps stop abuse... do you.. in the end, you have to live your purpose for yourself not others

Yes , can you please post the video speaking further more about your sister . I’m experiencing a similar situation with my aunt . I haven’t spoken to her for 2 months after she had me arrested . My family is guilt tripping me into speaking to her but I genuinely believe my life is better without her toxicity . This video was kismet :) thank you Nina .

I have always admired Nina. But can we all just take a moment to acknowledge the strength and empowerment she just exudes talking about her sister. My mom thinks she had already too! In December 2019 she got so sick, I had never seen her that sick in my life. Then we heard about Covid-19 late January 2020 CRAZY

It’s crazy Nina, me and my sister have not spoken in 3 years. She’s had two kids which I’ve never met and my family makes me feel that because she had kids I need to be mature and step forward and talk to her but I just feel it’s so toxic between us. I was thinking a lot about my emotions and then you post this video and remind me that it’s okay to not talk to her even if she is blood, so thank you for that Nina I love you so much for being so transparent ❣️

I just got the Pfitzer vaccine because I am in dental school 🥰 the only thing I can say is I am very fortunate that I had the opportunity to get it this soon and I didn’t feel anything except my left hand where I got the vaccine was a bit sore. But I experienced this with other vaccines also when I was younger it is totally normal 💖
