I really feel that Chas, Dave and Mick completely overlooked through the years. Remarkably talented. Highly entertaining and having met Chas and Dave true gentleman..... absolutely gutted at the passing of Mr Hodges an incredible musical genius and leaves behind his best mate 😢
Watched a program on BBC4 tonight. I thought they were cockney East London BUT apparently they came from around Edmonton (North London). Bloody brilliant pair. RIP Chaz :(
Good to see this again even though it is the "censored" version. Like him or loathe him Jim Davidson was in this show but the PC brigade decided to cut him out. He was in the original version on TV in mid eighties.
The lyrics are so true in there songs, so glad to see this show this year 21/12/16 on channel 5, even if it was edited as now days as the freedom of speech has long gone from this country.
Albert Lee - finger picking hot !! Diamond Gals and Geezers all round. Some of them even look like East End villain types !! Where was Jim Davidson ? I want a hat like the one that Mickey Burt wears !
Fast disappearing London culture. Amazingly talented and underrated.
Beautiful British culture.
