How to create a custom

Routing is an Add-in application included in ‘#SOLIDWORKS Premium’ that helps automate different types of routes, including electrical. Included in SOLIDWORKS is an extensive library of intelligent components you can drag and drop into your assembly. This default library is called the Design Library.
Routing Involves the creation of electrical wiring, cabling and electrical conduit as solid part in an assembly.
If you have the SOLIDWORKS Routing Add-in, you can create intelligent custom components and add it to the library. The created custom components will have routing information, which automatically start a route just like the ones already included in the Design Library.

Thanks Karuna it was very helpful. I have a question . I have a D sub Conn and go with the Hood, Should I make a assy or can I add the hood after assemble the conn on the main PD?
