TKell all the way!
Agreed.....Tkell👊
Yes!❤
I love every one of them. Nice!!!!
Great selection of fixed blades. That waxahachie keeps growing on me. And the Lille looks amazing.
An excellent set of knives! Great video 👍
The nightshade and Williams design.....wow❤💚💙
Fine analysis. I have a Fred Perrin small fixed blade collection. These are the best urban carry knives. Great update on these special blades. But in CA they are classified as dirks daggers. I watched this video several times. Enjoyable ! Thanks.
Nice little collection Dave.
I'm into pocket fixed blade EDC for a year and change. I got Midwatch quick for the N690 but since then switched to WTG Nomad EDC. It's wonderful!!
I've been EDC'ing the white river backpacker (with a handle) for a couple years now. But the Lionsteel Macro, in M390 has taken over. Specially with the leather pocket sheath that comes with it. Didn't think I'd care for it, but it's changed my mind!
Very nice collection, the vox and waxahachi stand out to me most.
Thanks for showing them.
Thanks for watching!
I love my izula2. The esee3 is tight too and perfect for scout carry
Good video thanks I really like the two small sencut knives👍
Glad you like them! One Civivi and one Sencut. 🗡️👍
Enjoyed it man.
Glad to hear it! 👊🗡️👍
Good Morning, Sir. I woke up with fixie fever and found this review. I'm leaning towards the midwatch. Thx for the great info.
You'll definitely want to check out the Viper handy - Review dropping today!
I love my waxahachie!
Excellent collection. I really like the T Kell Knives. And that J. Williams is a beauty.
I've been carrying the SOCP dagger In my front pocket recently. Ergonomics aside it is the fastest deployment of any fixed blade I've had so far. I also have the Tuya Knife LIlle ULF and their other small fixie as well. And last but not least I have a T.S.350 that I like to carry as well.
Great show.
I love the Lille Ulf! I never see it, or see anyone mention it… it’s an unknown gem. I did like a samurai style paracord wrap on it, came out really good.
Yeah I did a paracord wrap as well. Blade to handle ratio, carry ability , ergonomics. All with a wicked blade, it's hard to beat. 👍
My favorite still to date is the discontinued Boker Pocket Bowie collaboration with Tom Krein.... but seen recently a knife by Mercury called the kali clip that looks like a great edc.
I like the collection you have. The T.Kell knives are impressive. I can attest to the retention of the UltiClip. My current daily carry fixed blade has been from BGM Knives, and it is the Spade model. I have been very enamored with the quality of these knives, and I find his prices are reasonable. I have waivered with how I carry the fixed blade, mostly because of my pant choice. If the pocket is straight across, as with jeans, then I can clip the knife to the outer edge of the pocket. Again, the UltiClip won't move, and the sheath retention on the BGM knife is very good, it has the thumb press off spot. I actually have oriented the knife so that I could withdraw it in reverse grip, and it has worked very well. If I happen to wear pants with an angled pocket, then I end up clipping it inside my waist band. I have never thought of carrying the knife inside the pocket, I will have to explore this option. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for your rundown! Always great to hear from other enthusiasts and the blades they carry! 👊🗡️👍
T kell off the chain i agree
Many thanks Bro , great reviews. I love the Sencut blade for the price. Best wishes from the UK. Subbed.
Welcome to the channel and thanks for watching! 🗡️🔥🙏👍🗡️
@@OGBladeReviews ❤
Flagrant Beard Havok and Esee Izula in s35vn. Really interested in that Civivi though.
Thanks I really liked this video. The Spyderco Street Beat will probably be my next purchase. I can recommend a few knives that are not on your list. White River M1, Bradford Guardian 3.5, and an inexpensive one is the Schrade Adder. Please keep up the good work.
Thanks for the tips!
I would get all 3 of the Spyderco Street Beat line if they would offer them in a better handle material.
The sencut what would be a good pocket clip other than a ulticlip
I like the lille and chopper best
Good choices Garey! 👍🔥🗡️
I'm carrying the Tkell Raider since a month i Had a ANV P100 before for many years you should check that Out really Loved it
any nice Knives I like the Winkler sd2 with lined sheath anc Clip . I have others But the spine is thick it is a Lifetime Knife ?
I like those T Kell knives but still haven't pulled the trigger on one of those yet. That nickel boron coating is supposed to be pretty good
They are legit!
Very happy with my T Kell Nightstalker though I do carry it weak side horizontal. I no longer ever carry a folder. Go ahead pull the trigger Tim has a great line.
Pocket fixed blades are the best knives in my opinion 👍.
Since I started to EDC them about two years ago, I realized I likely won't be buying anymore folders 🤷.
From here on out any new purchase will be knives in this category👍.
Wise decision! 🗡️👍😁
That T Kell nightshade is actually a reverse tanto blade
Technically, there's no such thing as a "reverse tanto." But we're all free to interpret blade profiles as we understand them. 👍🗡️👍
Hey try out the Viper Berus as well!
Will do!
You should check out the new Hogue Extrak. Paper thin, full flat grind M4 sliceyness. Paper thin G-10 scales as well and light as a feather. Light and thin enough that I sometimes carry it as a neck knife and forget it's there.
Also comes with a blade protector as well as a taco style kidex sheath, so it works great in a pocket as well.
Sweet! I'll take a look. 👊🗡️👍
Have you ever tried the Strider SLCC with the g10 grips? Looks and carries similar to the Street Beat
Haven't, but will take a look! 👍🗡️👊
Imo n690 is very underrated as a user steel I have found it to be tougher than most stainless steels and a joy to use
True, and relied upon by many Italian knife producers 👍🗡️👊
It IS underrated! I had a drop forged chopper in it and it would not dull. That is why I was excited about Spyderco SPY 27 alloy as a sintered powder metallurgy alloy version of a Cobalt bearing steel it should be close to ultimate for me!
Great selection👏👏👏
But, as Columbo once said, if I ever stab someone it means I've lived too long 😕
Oh no! 🤔😂🗡️
Oh WOW! Your comment wins the internet today!
T. Kell is a reverse tanto. Wharncliffe shaped differently…but also offered.
I guess if a term is used long enough it gains in legitimacy! 😅 If you've been collecting blades as long as me, you would know that the term, "reverse tanto" did not exist 10 years ago or longer. I see the TKell more as an abrupt clip point that is sharpened or a Wharnecliff inspired shape. So if you take the business side of a tanto knife (Americanized chisel point tanto that is) and flip it so that it is on the straight edge, then the term tanto really no longer applies, since in order to be that it has to function like one or the term can no longer apply. Tantos cut with a tanto edge - right?
So there's my logical argument, but the reality is that people will call knives what they will, and even give them pet names, so long as they work well for them, and behave. 😁🗡️👊
Looking for some advice you may be able to help with!
I have a BMKT edc1 sheepsfoot knife I absolutely love. It’s my daily carry in m390.
I’ve been hunting for something similar or even identical in magnacut. But specifically in a sheepsfoot or variation of a sheepsfoot. To my surprise I’ve not had much luck finding anything slim and compact like my edc1 in magnacut.
Do you know of any fixed blade knife like I’m describing?? Price is not a concern
Sure! Check out this Bradford sheepsfoot in Magnacut: bradfordknives.com/guardian-35/559-12345-3d-guardian-35-sheepsfoot-m390.html
@@OGBladeReviews 😱😱 I don’t know their sheepsfoot version had a magnacut option?!?!
Thank you much!!
I think they started issuing the spyderco in an inferior steel. Good list.
Thanks! That's too bad about Spyderco.... 😬
Dave, do you have any blades of your own design? If not, which company would you most like to collaborate with? Always appreciate your insights
Thanks for asking! Actually, I've had a couple fixed blade customs built by Morgan Koens that I collaborated on. Of course these were usually only two or three made. However, if a production company were to make one of my designs, then most likely Kansept or Rike. 👊🗡️👍
i got a small buck fixed blade for 10 dollars (3 inch blade) and i bought a kydex sheet, a clip from dcc, and some eyelets for under 40 dollars. comment if you would like to see it
👍🗡️
Any joker making a small fixie and not using a taco kydex is just dim.
🤔🗡️🤔
Sorry I didn't bring my test jeans haha that was brilliant.
😁🗡️👍
Was disappointed that Lille 2 was not in stock. Snooze, you lose.
any opinion on lotar knives anyone?
Not familiar with them....
Bastinelli has a officiell corporation with microtech - the new Feather Apocalyptic
Yes, true, a good one! 👊🗡️
I carried Spydie Street Beat for a year----sheath is way too big and heavy for edc concealed carry----overall for any carry belt loops are where its at.
I would not carry any of those listed due to both sheath and knife design-----on knife ---I need a hand guard of some type and the ones that do are ring knives---which are pointless and annoying on this application----on sheath----i need a full purchase on grip before retraction and no repositioning-----
There may be a few small fixed blades that qualify for your needs but with most small ones you're going to get less guard and unfortunately sometimes less than a minimalist sheath. I do feel that the TKell offerings come the closest to perfection... Otherwise, you may need to go bigger. 👊🗡️👍
Absolutely ridiculous to charge that much for the Bastinelli.
But it's a charge we can choose to accept or deny. Freedom is a good thing! 👊🗡️👍
Yep got to love those fakes! 😎
I don't love bastinelli sheathes
Yeah, I don't get what's up with that 🤔🗡️🤔
Totally looks like a @TkellKnives knock off
? Which One ? 🤔
