We went to Ocean Beach for a lazy chill-out day.
Ocean Beach is a 45-minute drive from the Whangarei township located at the endpoint of the Whangarei Heads area. It is a popular spot for swimming, surfing, body boarding, and long walks. It might be a bit of a drive out of Whangarei City but it’s well worth the drive for a beach like this.

Hi @Akkarpark lamopas! I think there are more cheaper options of accommodation in Whangarei city which is around 45 minutes drive.
