After you mentioned the ACOTAR series in your last vlog, I was finally convinced to give it a try. I read the whole first book in 2 days and immediately had to run down to Waterstones to buy all the others. I feel like a fan girl with these books too!! Loved ACOTAR, moved to Throne of Glass and I am completely hooked. It’s definitely on par with ACOTAR so keep going. On Queen of Shadows at the moment… it’s a balance between not being able to put them down but also not wanting them to end ☺️ Crescent City is also incredible. Love your videos, they are calming and a little escape 🤍☀️xx

I was the EXACT same as you with the ToG series. I really struggled after ACOTAR to get through book 1 and 2, but I loved book 3 and the story really takes off and each book gets better and better. I adore the whole ToG series! It is my favourite book series ever x ❤

Just keep reading ToG, it gets sooo good at Heir of Fire and beyond (although it is more of a fantasy series while ACOTAR is romantasy but there's plenty of romance to come in ToG). She actually wrote the first couple of books when she was really young and her writing evolves a lot and a lot of new main characters are introduced in HoF. I was the same on the first couple of books but it is now my favourite SJM series! And make sure you read the assasin's blade either after this book or after the next one, it adds a lot of context going forward
I struggled with TOG the first time as it took me ages to warm to the main character and even then I didn't love her but the second time I read the prequel (Assassin's Blade) first and it really helped me to understand the character more and learn to love her.
A doggy hangout, such a cute idea for a Sunday! Can you believe that I just started Throne of Glass today? I have read not even 100 pages yet but I can definitely tell that her writing skill is not the same as in ACOTAR. But, as you said, Sarah was like 16 years old when she wrote this book, so it makes sense. Anyway, the story seems interesting so I'm gonna keep going!

I'm on Heir of Fire in TOG series. I've enjoyed the first 2. I'm only chapter 5 of heir of fire but so far so good.
