Chris Goreham is the best local radio football commentator there is. Have listened to many different ones from across the country this season, and his passion and quality shines through!
Upvote this!! He is streets clear. We are so lucky to have him. His knowledge of the opposition and fair reflection of their good moments/play is what sets him apart.

I’m going to miss idah if he truly does leave us this season. He may have been awful for us at times but at the same time, he saved us so many times and was a memorable player in Norwich city. I hope he can do well at Celtic and maybe even help them get round of 16.
Even if we stay down, I think his (DW) recent incredible work deserves loyalty to the man for at least one more season.

Chris Goreham = Legend. Can't see a scenario where we don't want Ipswich in the play off semi finals. They miss out on automatic promotion and they have to play us. Their worst nightmare realised !

Leeds fan looking in. Very good podcast this. IF we get passed by Ipswich, I hope we do not play Norwich...you look very dangerous and in-form. Hopefully we go up in 2nd and you beat Ipswich at Wembley ;) All the best Canaries.....an exiled White and Yorkie in Calgary, Canada. MOT.
Of course we all want to win on Saturday however, I think a point in either of our final two games would be enough to seal the playoffs. I’m not really feeling at all nervous, to me it felt like job done after the wins against Ipswich and PNE.
EDIT - I don’t think it matters at all whether we finish fifth or sixth. Ipswich have a bit of a hoodoo against us but we have to admit that they are a good team and could definitely beat us, Leeds are always a problem for us and we all know they have the quality to beat us, Southampton whilst in shaky form at the moment have been amazing at times this season and could definitely beat us and probably would be favourites to beat us. I’d really fancy us against West Brom but typically we can’t face them in the semis anyway.
Hopefully 5th, Southampton are the only team I’d really fancy. I couldn’t take the stress of two more Derbies 😂
Saints will def be 4th. Ipswich or Leeds for 3rd. I'd like, in order:
1)Ipswich
2)Southampton
3)Leeds
So that means that the safest shout is to get 5th and take our chances against Southampton and then Ipswich at Wembley.
But sadly, I think we might have blown the chance to get 5th against the Robins
Ipswich in the semis. They don't like playing us.

No he doesn't. They'd have to renegotiate with us if they wanted him. He's contracted until 2028.

I fancy Southampton or Ipswich in the playoff semis. Really don't want Leeds, can't see us beating them over two legs but a one-off game at Wembley is possible. Need to overtake West Brom into 5th to give ourselves the best chance of promotion.
I really don’t think it matters to be honest. Any one of those top four sides could’ve won the league this season and all of them have show real quality at times. Regardless of whether we finish fourth or fifth, we’re going to have to win a two legged semi and a final against two very good teams.

I love that scenario. I’d fancy us against West Brom and to be fair, they have already beaten Ipswich this season but it sounds too good to be true.

Agree. Martin hasn’t dealt with their wobble very well imo. Showing his inexperience. Now starting to look like a team that can be got at. Not unlike us tbf but at least it levels the playing field!

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I want the bin boys to get automatic promotion. We could beat them again in the playoffs but I want to see them in the PL - I feel we've missed the 'needle' from that rivalry during the two Farke promotions. The rivalry sharpens us. Also I want to see them SUFFER the PL as we did, as Burnley and the Blades are now so we can gloat 😂 Beating them at a playoff wouldn't taste as sweet 😎OTBC 🔰
