Yes, no matter what, you must get up and be happy that you're alive. I am in a wheelchair full-time with a chronic nerve disease where I feel like I am disappearing. It really sucks but everyday I get up, take a cold shower and do my routine because damn it, I am alive! How cool is it that I have life? Amazing to the extreme!

BBoys helped keep my mood up while grieving. Alive hit so hard after she passed - was so fortunate to be in her circle of love for 18 years.

CRASH! When this album came out it was released in the USA before UK. I had the USA version then noticed that this track was not included on the UK release-weird. Never understood that. The moving backwards is director Spike Jonze filming footage of the BB walking backwards, played in reverse.. Spike did the same in the video for "Drop" by the Pharcyde. The video features Ad-Rock and Mike D in a cameo and a vocal sample of The New Style, "mmm..... drop."

Yes this is a get up in the morning song. There are some songs out there from total different bands that i like to start the day with. It can be a rocker like the song good morning from a band called blackfoot. Or my personal favorit is a song called roll the stone from a band called sixty watt shaman. Everytime bevor i go out the door for working i need the lyrics of this song.

I don;t think you've seen it yet, but Mike D had a moment as Country Mike. It was a whole thing where Mike D "allegedly" fell and hit his head. When he woke up he thought he was "Country Mike" so the band went with it. There's actually some country songs on their Anthology album (Country Mike's Theme and Railroad Blues) and both are pretty good. There's also a very, very rare County Mike's Greatest Hits LP.
