They have these clear wall clips that will hold up the middle part of your shelf from underneath and won’t be seen - I would suggest it for longer stability since it’s sinking a bit in the middle - two clips near the middle separated by at least 4-5 inches should do the trick 💖
If you wanna cover those tiny holes left from attaching the trim you could always get wood filler or make a tiiiiny piping bag (with a needle point tip maybe) to fill that in? Not necessary at all just in case it bugs ya

Hopefully your espresso machine is close to the sink because you need to fill the tank with water before you can make espresso. Or do you just store it here and lug it to a place near the faucet when you actually use it?
Not my kitchen! & i was given this beautiful espresso machine and needed to make a place for it bc yes it is that great, much better than regular coffee
It seems the guy just added a shelf and the machines could always have been kept where they are still. It seems adding the shelf helped the space have a purpose.😏
