A previously damaged Drone commanded to morph into an Extractor and then canceled will also be restored to full health. This can lengthen a scouting Drone's life by morphing and canceling an Extractor in an opponent's base. So with that logic, it's probably safe to assume a damaged drone's HP is not reflected to the building since it will just heal the drone back to full HP anyway if you cancel a structure.
Season 14 is going to be REALLY exciting to watch with Bisu and soma both seeded into the Ro16, there's going to be top tier group selection banter to be had and I can't wait! Wonder if flash will return in time for the qualifiers... I miss seeing him play so strongly against everyone, but I'm enjoying him not playing far more!!!
I'm so glad the ZvP matchup has evolved since soma's victory in season 10. Back when I watched that season, soma made that matchup look utterly unwinnable for Protoss, and hence not particularly fun to watch, either. Whereas all the ZvPs in the top 4 looked to me like they could've gone either way if things had gone very slightly differently.
@@gunkanjima3408 Both can be true. He does genuinely rage, but at the same time he knows it brings in views and donos so he plays it up more at times. Possibly even straight fakes it at other times.

It's pretty easy to avoid if it's just the names in the title. A lot better than some other casters who put the faces of the players in the thumbnail. I had the entire ro4 spoiled because of Scan's cast.

Great cast! About Bisu's style... probably the math was done, but if the Zerg's decision is not to attack until Lair tech is out, why not build a sunken covering the mineral line? It would prevent zealot from engaging in an advantageous position and greatly reduce the number of lings needed to be hatch (thus more drones out). It also serves later in the game against the zealots run-by. Spore also could deter corsair commitment that makes your supply plummet. I can only assume it's either too costly or pros would rather have lings that can be use to counter-attack/be mobile to cover both the nat and the 3rd bases. Any semi-pro out there that could enlighten me?
Not a semi-pro but watching soulkey (I think?), he did have more static defense in his expansions. With the static d you're just accepting that you will be behind early. With the lings there's more variance, maybe you will be even more behind, or maybe you clean up the toss harass nicely, get some zealot/probe pick offs on the map, get a ling run-by, etc. There's just more play with lings, but there's also more risk, I don't think there's a right answer here, its just about how much risk you want to take to try to get ahead.
You'd have to spend 350 minerals and 2 larva to have a single sunk at your nat and third. At that point, protoss just doesn't commit and you're behind over a hatchery, or they run by to the main because you have no zerglings. Every sunk/spore is 175 minerals, so they need to save you at least 175 to be worth. You save on larva, but have to spend a drone with such a high mineral cost. A spore to defend against corsairs is effective against 3-4, but when the protoss goes up to 5-6 they can just ignore the damage and kill overlords anyways. Each spore is nearly 2 overlords in cost as well, so a spore needs to save 2 for it to be worth. (It also promotes heavy clustering of the overlords near the spore, which makes life even more painful if the protoss hits enough sairs to engage, while also generally adding a weakness to DT harass.) Pros will forever prefer lings for the much greater utility and rely on hydra/scourge to defend overlords. Most below the pro level would be well served by setting up static D, especially to help with the eventual DTs. To be fair, most protoss below the pro level will do much worse in controlling their zealots (or as well/better while floating 1k minerals) so lings still generally work well.

What I think SOMA did wrong in game 3 is he didn't make spores against the corsairs and he didn't make any zerglings at the end against the goons. The Zerglings have to fight the dragoons, not the Zealots. The zerglings are great vs goons and absord alot of goon damage. The toss might even pull the zealots back from the hydras to defend his goons from the zerglings. Also zerglings would been great for a run-by. And better against high templar. I think a mix of ling hydra is much stronger than only hydras and lurkers... PS: Tastless!!!! I WANT A THIRD PLACE BATTLE!!! I WANT MORE STARCRAFT!!! I WANT THE BATTLE FOR THE THIRD PLACE!!!!!!!!!!
---SPOILER ALERT--- Game 4 was probably the worst Bisu game I have ever watched. Maybe I am super ignorant, but assuming Bisu didn't make a mistake with that wall, is there a good reason why he walled that way? The only reason I could think of is that Bisu absolutely did not want a Hydra Bust to destroy his Forge while upgrading +1 Weapons. Even then, if his Gateway was up one hex higher, he could have put the Cyber Core where the Forge usually goes, have a semi-normal wall and place 3-4 cannons in a vertical line to defend against the Hydra push at 1:03:25. Someone with more insight can tell me why I am wrong.
